Dowco Guardian Ultralite Motorcycle Cover 3.9 5 12 12
Indoor Only This cover rocks but only for indoor use. The very thin material would not last very long outside but inside it keeps the dust away and looks great. October 26, 2015
Great for what it is I wanted something I could take on a long trip just to cover the bike for a little extra security, outta sight, outta mind. This definitely fits the bill. Don't know about durability but I don't exactly expect it to be bomb proof at this price point. Thanks to Revzilla customer service I bought the right size for my application. August 12, 2013
good indoor cover The Dowco Ultralight is meant for indoor and infrequent outdoor use. For that it works well. It is light, compact and inexpensive. It is also thin and the Ducati red shows thru. :) June 18, 2013
Just what I need for a travel cover I ordered this because I wanted a light-weight cover for the bike while traveling. There have been a couple of times where the parking areas were covered with trees and the bike ended up with sap and other junk on it. This is easy to put on and even with my windshield and top case the cover goes all the way down to my tires (I ordered a size large). The little connectors aren't much, but will do the job. This will be nice to travel with as it doesn't take up a lot of space and weight. I'd say it's a very good product for the price considering how I plan to use it. April 17, 2013
Does the job, but cheaply Fits my R1200GS with vario panniers very well. Nice, light, and compact. Drawbacks are that the hooks, and elastic at the bottom are very weak and imagine will stretch and wear out quickly. Also, with no emblem, difference in material, or significant profile, it's really hard to tell which side is the front. February 18, 2013
Doesn't last Bought this product in 04/2012 and in 10/2012 I found it torn in the middle. It might work OK just for covering your bike in a covered garage but definitely doesn't withstand harsh California sun. November 17, 2012
Tears easily After about 6 month of use the cover developed one hole near the vent and a tear on the front. A few days ago putting the cover on it tore the whole body length so is completely useless. If you have the box it is supposedly warrentied but I don't want to get the same cover if it only last that long, not really water resistant either. October 1, 2012
Basic but does the job when on the road. Basic but does the job when on the road. Simple, affordable and the bag is a nice feature for storage. August 28, 2012

DR. RICHARD J. L: Pack it up and easily put it in my saddlebag Oct 4, 2015
Jofferson G: Security reason so no one knows what's under the cover. May not be 100% theft proof but at least no one will see it in the open and think twice of coming back to try and get it. Apr 7, 2015
Brian R: This cover is small enough to take with me and put over my motorcycle while at school or work, it helps the bike be out of sight and out of mind for any potential thief. As long as I don't let it touch my exhaust it seems like it will hold up well. Mar 18, 2015
Paul A: Bought this a gift for a new motorcycle rider. I already have the same model, used it many times on trips and for winter storage (garaged) and like the quality of the product. Dec 9, 2014
carlos n: cheap prices Apr 24, 2014

Norberto R asked: Can you use this cover immediately after riding or do you need to let the engine cool down? Aug 19, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Brian R: I use it immediately after riding but keep it off my exhaust. It doesn't touch my engine so I have not had any trouble.
It has touched my exhaust before when hot, and I have not noticed any melting or burning. However, it's only ever touched the exhaust for 10 seconds or so to my knowledge.

Brian R: According to this fitment chart you should get a medium in the ultralite http://www.revzilla.com/assets/0000/1229/dowco_ultralite_motorcycle_cover.pdf
I have a medium for my Honda CBR300R and it's got a little room so I think it would fit an R6 nicely.

Brad T: I purchased a size medium for a 2014 Triumph Bonneville T100. The cover fits close to perfect for that bike. I can't speak for the XL size but, that might give a starting point for comparison. Nov 20, 2014

Anggara T: Not sure about Striple R, mine is Daytona 675. Striple should be more compact since it's without fairing. I bought Large size and it was too big. Oct 7, 2013
