Dainese Airstream Course Helmet

With the Bluetooth helmet line, Dainese enters the world of connectivity thanks to an interactive telephone-helmet communication system. The built-in wireless Bluetooth communication system lets the pilot talk with the greatest safety while keeping both hands free. The helmet features an earplug and a front microphone housed in a special anti-noise shell that permits communication without disturbance or interference. All you have to do is connect a Bluetooth® telephone to the helmet and press a multi-function key positioned at the rear of the shell in order to enable wireless connection that lets the system dialogue with any other telephone equipped with Bluetooth® technology. A l.e.d. on the enable key indicates operating status while communication is in progress.

The Bluetooth connection also provides wireless interphone communication without requiring a telephone (and therefore no phone bills to pay): just press the multi-function key and let conversation between the two Bluetooth® helmets begin and continue during short or long-distance touring. When the system is used as interphone, only the "master" helmet (designated as such previously) can use the simultaneous telephone connection.

The Bluetooth helmet is fed by the rechargeable built-in batteries housed in polystyrene: just connect your helmet to the battery-charger provided as standard when you get off your bike and let it recharge before your next journey. D-Tec® presents the Air Stream Course Bluetooth model, the new helmet for racing with free communication developed from ergonomic and aerodynamic studies conducted by the Dainese Research and Development Department.

The Air Stream Course Bluetooth helmet combines the latest communication technologies with safety research in the perfect helmet for racing bike lovers open to technological innovation. The Airstream Course Bluetooth helmet maintains the same technical features as the Airstream Course helmet and is available in the Soft Titanium version only.

MATERIALS

• The new shell in composite fibre obtained by bonding layers of uniaxial fiber glass, carbon, and aramidic fibre with the Bag Moulding system provides both strength and light weight. The shell comes in two sizes. 
• The absence of holes on the upper pat of the shell increases structural strength because the continuity of the fibres is unbroken. The sleeker profile also improves aerodynamics. 
• The liner in polystyrene foam with central, low-density insert was designed for shock absorption by the distribution of impact over the greatest surface area possible.
