The Q2 worked right out of the box, no complicated setup (already mated) and the instructions were easy to follow. Attachment to the helmet was simple, but make sure the speakers are mounted right opposite the ears for best results. Some folks said the sound was a little low on bass, although that may be true, for all the pro's, this one con was no big deal for me. Range seems to be okay so far, but will have to see as time goes on. Thumbs up so far for the price I paid, which turned out to be a good bit less than average. REVZILLA's prompt service and delivery was awsome - my thx to them.

I came back to give it 10 out of 10. I ride with my nephew who I gave the other one to from the set and we both love the hook up. Talking to one another all the time while riding is so much safer. I tell him when cops are coming and he tells me when he is about to get over. Also it's so cool when you are riding in a group of five or more(Most of the time its about 20(Bike night here in Los Angeles) because you can tell the others to go single file or double stag in the group that has a link(we use our cell phones and three way party lines)... It is sooooooooooo cool to see out on the road the safety this product brings. Everyone that rides with someone by their side or in front or in back of them should have one on at all time. I can't tell you how much this thing kick ass!!!!!! Go get the set or the single you can't go wrong.......One Happy Customer!!!!!!!

OOPs, will not pair with my Garmin. But that's a Garmin thing. Charge it, mount it, turn it on and listen to every little thing your partner has to say. THE first question you should ask before buying this is "Do I really WANT to know what my partner has to say?" If your bike is/was your fortress of solitude, think hard.

This product well exceeded my expectations. I thought at best it would work "just ok" and be better than nothing at all. I ride with my 10 year old son and usually ride ahead of him scouting bad spots in the trails, so I was constantly looking back to check on him. No more. I was very impressed with the range, and the sound quality is crystal clear. It is a totally different experience riding when you can freely talk to one another without stopping. We both love it!

Highly recommend the Cardo unit. I spent hours researching different bluetooth systems for two up riding/intercom use and bluetooth telephone use. I was very happy with my choice. Mounting the units was a breeze and pairing took about five minutes. "Can you hear me now ?"

talking on the phone is a surreal experience , no one can tell im on the bike and I can hear fairly well although at times i wish i could raise the volume a notch above maximum.
As for the intercomm use for two up riding, I wont leave home without out it, I just cant imagine riding yelling over the pipes and wind.
Make sure you order the right microphone as they come in two sizes.

This is a very well engineered peice of electronics. Great battery life, bike to bike communication is flawless even at high speeds. Bluetooth works great with cellphones.

Only complaint is that altough there is an MP3 aux jack on the unit, the speakers are not adequate for audio playback.

Dam good product. So far so gooood!!! I have the set and with my HTC touch phone its great. I can hear phone calls at high speeds. The two little speakers dont get in the way and they make the phone calls come alive and with my ipod( the music goes mute when you receive a call) everything is cool. I just wish I could go wireless with my ipod (Head set wont take my bluetooth transmitter that I have for my ipod but I will try again later)but the cord that links it to the headset is just fine. I tested out the other headset for riding with a friend and it works through walls in the house and about two blocks away. Can't wait to try it out on the road...So far so good and I have to give the scalar riders Q2.. 9 out of 10. If the two way system works out ok .. I will come back and give it a ten out of ten.. Also the FM radio I don't care for because, I don't listen to the radio so I'm cool with that. It works but I won't be using it.....

This product is great. The reception of FM radio is not very good, but all other services work as stated.
