Perfect riding glasses
Got these in the mail this morning. Went on a 4 hour ride to test the glasses on my Tiger Explorer this morning with a modular helmet. I have a pinlock partially-tinted visor insert, so the glasses did not transition much today given the overcast conditions. However, with my helmet lifted, the glasses slowly transitioned darker while riding with the visor up since they were exposed to more sunlight.

Neat trick to notice exactly how much the glasses transitioned/tinted - when you get them new out of the box, there might be little stickers you peel off. Leave them on, and put the glasses in the direct sun for 5 minutes. Peel the sticker off and you'll see the clear lens under the sticker surrounded by the tinted lens.

These are very comfy. They fit under my HJC modular helmet nicely, and when riding with the face shield up the foam around the eyes keeps most of the air from drying out my eyes - much better airflow protection than the previous sunglasses I was wearing.

I really like how the glasses come with protective case, protective drawstring bag, and lens cloth for cleaning the bugs off. Well worth the money, especially after applying Revzilla cash to the order. Bought my wife a pair too!

These glasses were terrible.
These were supposed to be photochromic, but the pair I received would never darken when in sunlight.

They fit but do not change color as advertised at all.
They fit but do not change color as advertised at all.

The whole reason I got these was for the change in tent, from morning to night rides with just one set of glasses. Well these do not change at all.

Do not buy them if that is what you are looking for. Fit was fine even at speed, just a waste as day riding glasses.

helps keep the wind and debris out of your eyes while riding with a 3/4
joe a on Nov 29, 2015
Had good reviews and I am hoping to have a pair of glasses rather than fumble around with two or three different pairs depending on time of day or riding conditions.

I needed some photochromic glasses, they are the perfect ones.

just hope they get dark enough to be effective
Jody W on Jul 8, 2015

How are they at blocking wind? As effective as goggles, or not so much?
Adrian E on Oct 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Very effective up to about 40mph, but then the wind creep gets noticeable. Still not enough to make my eyes water on these cold mornings, but close. Definitely not as effective as goggles, so ya gotta weigh the pros/cons
Does the lense lightened during the night and darking during the day?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They get darker with sun, do not expect a complete black lens. It will protect your eyes and reduce glare, I will say is a medium type of sun glasses, they are cool.
At night they are clear, do not amplify light like yellow.
Will I look bad-ass in these?
A shopper on Mar 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They have a nice style to them , I have two pairs of them that's how much I like them.
Can you put prescription lenses in them ?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I imagine so you can put prescription into any type of glasses frame, if they are thick bifocals. But other than that they are a great pair of glasses. I have two pairs of them that's how much I like them.
Is this ideal for night time riding?
Sourabh M on Mar 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but they do not change to a darker tint at all during the day.
Is it ideal for night riding?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Clear enough to ride with at night, behind my tinted helmet visor.
