Most HP for the $
Released that restricted top end power of my U.S. spec'd liter bike. They say that the Z-Bomb only works above 9,500 rpm but I feel like my bike woke up in the low to mid range as well. Great bang for the buck! i would definitely recommend this product.

This is the easiest way to get more HP without having to spend a fortune.
I bought this item with the hopes of gaining more top end power. Now that its own I really can feel a difference. Especially in 3 gear for some reason. Past 9500 rpm makes it feel like a turbo charger. I literally feel myself slipping off the seat because its pulling so hard. I love it. Wish I knew of another product that would increase Horsepower this easy.

Noticeable increase in power - tricky install
The z-bomb works as described. When you hit your powerband, you definitely feel the boost. It's very noticeable (and fun) in my opinion. At lower revs there's no difference.
My only complaint about his product is the installation. I have a 2012 cbr1000rr, and the connector was tucked in deep where I had to use long but thin screw drivers to hold the connector in place and with a bit of luck and retries, I was able to line the connectors up enough to hold in place and then click together. It's hard to explain, but the instructions made it seem like install was a breeze and would take 5 minutes. I suppose if you're a mechanic and have all kinds of tools readily available that may be the case. For me, install took 45 minutes.
However, I'd buy this product again

I seen a big difference in power after installing the z bomb myself. It was a pain to install due to my wiring was setup on the motorcycle but it is worth it the hassle.

LOL!! Why did I choose this?? To make the dash read 299kph on the highway obviously :P
Japjit G on May 28, 2014
the u.s. spec cbr100rr's timing is retarded to restrict peak power, the Z-Bomb will trick the ecu and tps to never see 100% throttle and free up to 7 peak horsepower at the wheels towards redline.

Can the z bomb be used without an aftermarket fuel management system?
Johnathan W on Apr 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I believe it can be used without an aftermarket fuel management system. If I'm not mistaken, this module is used to bring the CBR1000RR back to it's original specifications from Japan. If someone believes that my statements are incorrect, please correct me.

I hope this helps!
Can this be used with the power commander5? or is it not needed with it?
Greg H on Sep 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: There is no advantage to adding a Power Commander with the Bazzaz Zbomb. If anything use the ZFI Bazzaz module, which will yeild an extra 1-2 hp with the correct map. Most just opt to run with the Z Bomb as it makes most all the change.
does it work with the juice box pro from two brothers racing?
joe b on Jun 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The way it works is it actually plugs into your Throttle Position Sensor tricking the ECU into reading its own Timing Map differently. If the Juice Box is only controlling your fuel trims then it shouldn't be an issue. Independent systems.
I would call Bazzaz just to make sure.
