This is my second set of these tires and I LOVE them! I have them on my R80 GS and have ridden all kinds of roads- dirt , gravel, ruff and smooth, in wet and dry and they have performed well. I have had many miles of smiles on these rubbers and recommend them to anyone who rides street with ruff terrain detours. 5 stars!

I ride a 2012 R1200GSA and decided to give these tires a chance. I have Avon tires on all of my other bikes and love them. They take a bit longer to heat up unlike the EXP but once they are warmed up HANG ON. I have about 800 miles on them but if they last like my other Avons I should see about 7500 to 8000 miles out of them.

Martin G:I am not sure, but I believe tires are rim dependent, not front or rear dependent. That fact that it is not suitable for a front tire in 99% of applications would be a better telling sign. Writing to AVON would be my best suggestion.Aug 26, 2014
Hilary D:This is a correction to my previous answer. The front tire has a smaller tread patern then the rear. The front and rear tread patern is the same but the size of the tread is very different. I still would ask AvonAug 21, 2014
ADVJason:Your KTM 530 XCW comes standard with a 110/100-18 dirt specific tire. We cannot recommend a tire size that differs from manufacturers specifications. It may be necessary for you to change your rear rim to a 17" supermoto style to open up your tire selection. You could try surfing the forums and see what others have been able to accomplish.Nov 15, 2011
