Arai SAQ Face Shield
New look on my Arai!
I love the look of the gold shield on my Ducati Corse Arai Vector helmet. Well worth the $.

Good Quality But Expensive
Arai makes a great helmet and a nice shield that is both functional and durable. My shields generally last me at least 2 years but I still have a hard time with the $50+ price tag. The light tint is a perfect for both riding in the day and after the sun has gone down.

It's a new sheild
My factory clear shield was scratched up and I wanted to stop wearing sunglasses with my helmet. I got the Dark Smoke, and it pretty much a great level of tint. Dark enough to block out the bright rays, but not super dark that you can't leave it down if stuck out on a later ride.

Easy shopping. Asked for guidance to be sure to select right model - got answer within short time.
Both product and dealer is highly recommended :-)

The mirrored finish wore off of the first one after a couple of years. Never happened to my Shoei shields. I like the Arai helmet, so I will replace the tinted shield as necessary. Love the product; durability could be better. I bought a second one, so its not all bad. :)

Good optics and quality . . .
Quality and fit are excellent as Arai face shields always are.
The amber color I chose is the most orange of any amber colored shields or glasses I've had. Don't know if I'll be able to get accustomed to it.
Purchasing tinted optics online without seeing in person is just a tough proposition, I guess. Hate to keep buying until I get one I like.

The shield fits well, is quiet, and is dark enough for even the brightest conditions. The tint seems to hold up with no scratches or damage to the finish in three months despite being used on a bike that offers no protection at the helmet level. The tinted shield also keeps the helmet cooler.
