Always ARAI quality...
Purchased to use in conjunction with my mirrored visor for my ARAI Defiant helmet... Nothing but the best and will only go with factory ARAI products for my helmet. Don't be fooled by imitations because they are cheaper. I've owned many helmets in my 32 years of motorcycle riding/racing and never put a price on quality especially when I know the amount of testing and commitment made in manufacturing every ARAI helmet by hand. I had the opportunity to become factory trained on the how these helmets are made and designed the way they are. Isn't your head worth it???

Arai face shield
It's great for riding in the day the vents are nice in the hot weather but if you want to ride at night it's kind of hard to see.

Fast service, great product.
The silver color on this visor is just what I wanted. With help from the video, the install was a "snap".... literally!

Does not fog, yellow adds contrast for driving both day and night
I mainly purchased this insert for the yellow contrast increasing tint. Years ago I remember seeing an ad for very expensive “blue blocker” (yellow tinted) sun glasses for several hundred dollars that increased clarity and contrast. This insert is considerably less expensive, and it does thee same job. It works wonderfully well, day and night. And since I live in a dry area, that was the end of that.
However, on a trip to the Rocky Mountains I had the opportunity to ride through driving rain mixed with hail and fog. I was ascending Pike's Peak at the time. The conditions were so bad that the left lens of my spectacles fogged up! (Thankfully the right one stayed clear.) The Arai SAI Max Vision Pinlock Insert w/ Brow Vents did not even threaten to fog up! This Pinlock insert is incredible! Would that I have had this during my first fifteen years of riding in the Pacific Northwest (a.ka. The Pacific NorthWet).
If you ride in a climate in which your helmet is prone to fogging, you *need* the Arai SAI Max Vision Pinlock Insert w/ Brow Vents visor insert. I have never seen anything as fog resistant as this.
Having said that, I live in a very dry climate now, and shield fogging is the least of my worries. I just really, really like the added contrast of the yellow Pinlock insert. I use it along with the Arai Pro Shade system.
The Arai SAI Max Vision Pinlock Insert w/ Brow Vents is a little challenging to get in, but I have found the results well worth the effort.

Silver Mirror - Perfect for a sunny day
I wanted a second visor for my Signet-Q and figured I'd roll the dice on the silver mirror. This is a terrific addition to my helmet. The tinted silver visor is a light smoke and perfect for morning to evening use.
I prefer to wear my contacts and ditch the glasses (I wear them enough throughout the week) so the only option was to get a tinted visor. They are the perfect tint for most riding, have almost no glare but do fog a bit in cooler weather. I didn't think to check if they make this in a pin-lock version.
If you need a 2nd visor and are thinking about getting a tinted one, the silver mirror visor can't be beat.

Great Product That I Recommend
The Arai SAI Face Shield is a great addition to my Arai RX-Q helmet. Using this for riding during the daytime is excellent because I can see everything crystal clear without having to squint my eyes. When wearing the helmet, it feels as though there is no visor there which is surprising because of the dark smoke tint. From the outside, it is streamlined with my black helmet and your unable to see through it, but from the inside everything is clear.
I recommend this product and would definitely purchase it again.

Arai: mo money, mo money
Another expensive Arai purchase. $600 for the helmet, $40 for the cheek pads that make it fit properly and then $50+ for this thing. Thanks Arai.
