I bought these gloves in the summer last year for my MSF course. That said, these are excellent gloves both for new riders and the summer weather. However, they have already begun to fall apart; the flap that goes over the inside wrist has come completely unglued from the velcro. On the topic of said flap, it seems that either my wrists are unusually small or Alpinestars thinks women riders have wrists the same size as their male counterparts. There is hardly enough velcro to fasten the gloves securely, if that makes any sense.... in short, small-wristed women will find these gloves loose in the wrist area.
I will have to say that, going by the provided size charts, the gloves overall tend to run small. According to the chart, I am a size XS, whereas I am wearing a small. Not to mention I have relatively short fingers and still find the finger length of the gloves to be a bit short.
Overall, not bad gloves for the price, and the airflow is superb. New riders may find these easier to learn the controls in as they are not as thick as some other gloves.

I really like these gloves, but after a few weeks of wearing them in the Philadelphia heat, they stretch considerably. I would buy these gloves again but get a size smaller than I normally would.

Great product overall, comfortable and breathable, but durable. enough reinforcement over knuckles to protect, but not restraining. Leather reinforcement on the inside of the thumb helps grip on the throttle. Smaller than advertised. For example, I am a size small according to the sizing chart, but bought a medium and they fit perfectly.

Always wear a small glove, but these "Smalls" were extra small so will go to granddaughter. Also, I think on arrival these were more like a $30 glove than a $45 glove.
