runs small, but nice gloves
looks great, no too bulky or heavy. definitely runs small. I wear a medium (I have piano fingers), ordered a medium, felt too small to even consider stretching or breaking them in. sad to return them... definitely order a size up. I should have ordered a large.

For the Wife
Bought these for the wife based on trying on a similar Alpinestars glove.

She really enjoys the fit of them, said they are comfortable, good air flow on a 89 degree day. My wife doesn't like pink/purple/girly stuff, so it's tough to find something that makes her happy style wise.

The palm of the glove appears to be strong and has a decent amount of padding if you were to land hands first.

Awesome summer gloves.
These gloves are excellent all around. They're stylish, fit comfortably, and being all leather, I'm sure they are very protective (though I hope I never have to test that aspect first hand). Despite being very sturdy, they are remarkably cool while riding. On a sunny 80 degree day, it felt like I wasn't wearing any gloves at all. While I usually prefer a zipper, the velcro closure on these gloves seems sturdy enough. They were on the snug side when I first tried them on, but conformed perfectly to my hands after just 2 hours of riding.

If I had to nitpick looking for flaws, I'd say the gloves lack wrist protection because they just cover your hands. But they are summer gloves after all, and if your jacket sleeves fit correctly this shouldn't be a problem.

Good gloves but too small
I got a medium, but could barely fit even my fingers in these. I'm a 5'6" woman, 140lbs and I'm usually a medium, but these run small. If you think you're a medium, go for a large hands down. I gave the gloves to a friend instead and she loves them. They're really nice gloves, it's a shame they didn't fit

They run a bit small
According to the size chart, I was supposed to be a size Medium in these gloves (almost a Small).

I had to return/exchange them when I received them in the mail because they were too small on me *especially* in between the pointer finger and thumb. They are very comfortable gloves overall. DEFINITELY recommend buying a size up though. :)

Perfect for tiny hands!
I've got TINY hands and most gloves even in a size small or extra small have fingers that are slightly too long. These fit like, well, a glove!

Stylish summer gloves with great feel but not if you want full protection
I wanted a pair of summer gloves that was easy to pull on and off when I need to make multiple stops (one closure tab rather than the 2-3 for gauntlet style ones). Also I really needed a pair of gloves that enables me to have a good feel when I need to reach for things while wearing them (ie ID passes, keys, etc).

The velcro closure makes quick work of putting these on and taking them off, however I imagine the elastic on the inside wrist will not last that long. The velcro tab secures on the top of the wrist and is too stiff and does not curve around to give a good secured feel. I will not rely on these NOT to come off.

The thin perforated leather is very stylish and super comfortable, I love how trendy it looks, almost like a driving glove. The padding on the knuckles is good and the glove is easy to break into. It remained soft and supple even after wearing in the rain quite a few times.

As with all short gloves, it made me feel a bit unprotected when I first had them on (I usually wear my gauntlet style SP-1), with the bare wrist and some open area where the tab opens up. I only wear these going to work and for short trips on familiar routes, I would definitely stay with the longer gloves for anything long distance or highway stuff. It is good for summer (I do love them) but not if it is your only pair of gloves.

Decent inexpensive glove
I've been wearing these for several seasons for a summer glove. I've recently upgraded for a better fit and more protection, but these served me OK for quite a while.

As other reviewers have said, they DO run a little small. Also, there is a seam in the pinky finger that runs right across my finger in a spot at the side of the nail - I end up with a red mark from the seam pressing there. A larger size would probably help, but I usually don't notice it until after at least an hour of riding so it may be from my hands swelling slightly.

They have worn very well - after 5 seasons, they look nearly new. I wish "protection" and "durability" weren't lumped together in one category because they're not the same thing at all, IMO. I'd give them 5 stars for durability if I could.

These don't have much protection. A large bug to the knuckles will DEFINITELY make you yelp.

Airflow is good for summer riding.

Style: They're a plain black glove, but at least they're not covered with pastel butterflies and hearts, so that's good.

Comfort: In the proper size they're probably much better.

Features: Not much going on here.

Overall, they're a good "bang for the buck," but had I known more about street gear when I bought them, I may have made a different choice. I wanted a high quality basic glove and they are that for sure, but I mistakenly bought the smaller size since I wear my dirt gloves snug.

price, simplicity and for a two up rider getting back into riding so nothing extremely technical was necessary. With that said these have a high quality feel, nice leather and look like they will provided excellent protection.

reviews. I thought about alpinestar smx2 which folks seem to like, but don't like the plastic on the outside. Function PLUS form together. I'm not wild about these, but neither do I like gloves w/ holes in them.

Is the inside of this glove lined or is the leather exposed? (Buying gloves for someone who has a contact allergy with treated leather on the skin)
A shopper on Dec 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There is no lining, for air flow, I think.
