3 Stars: Fit is great. Pile badly after one ride.

Sizing:: Fits true to size

Pros:: Comfortable and Fashionable

Cons:: Flimsy

Comments:

These socks do everything they are supposed to do. Ride high, good compression and support, thick and warm, feel comfy, stay dry.
Problem is, even after trying a pair of track boots, they started to pile. After one ride, they look darn worn around the legs. Now after a few washes and wear they look beat up fussy. I still keep wearing them as they continue to feel and fit well and not losing their thickness.

I thereafter bought smartwool ski socks instead. They are much durable and look and feel just as good if not better, at same or lower prices.

Sizing:: Fits true to size

Pros:: Comfortable

Comments:: Combined with a vented boot these socks perform their intended role well. They are very comfortable and fit great. I wear size 11 and ordered the LG-XL size. Only con to me is that they are kinda expensive at $20 a pair. I wanted something that flows air and wicks some moisture from my feet on these hot NC summers. Compared to standard socks the A*'s fit the bill.
