Worth a look
These gloves have good/very good protection for the winter but my fingertips get slightly cold. I have only used them on very cold days and I ride in NYC. Over all happy with the gloves but price is a bit high.

Expected more for this price point.
I expected a better product at this price point. My biggest gripe about this glove is the grip. They are slick and I am constantly making adjustments to keep a steady throttle. My $60 cortech gloves have better grip than these. My second issue is the cuff of the glove. Although they have a nice feel to them, I know with use they will start to stretch. They do look great though and I believe they would do well in a crash.

One of the best gloves out there
I purchased this glove to use as a cooler weather, longer distance glove. They have evolved into the glove I wear everyday except in 85 degree weather on up. The goretex in the liner keeps my hand dry and comfortable in a 65mph wind on the highway. The protection is unrivaled and the look can fit any style of rider. The only issue I have is that i wish they made a 3XL. It is a little difficult to get over the widest part of my hand inside the gauntlet. But once inside the actual glove I have plenty of room.

Good for cold weather but not durable or great in rain
I ride almost every day in the rain and, after having these gloves for a little over 1 year, they are ready to be replaced.
The velcro on the elastic part of the glove has started to come off, the leather on the palm has started to ball up and has gotten pretty smelly from being exposed to constant moisture and difficulty drying and the insulation has gotten pretty thin.
That said, I've ridden in weather down to 29 degrees and had my hands be reasonably warm other than the fingers which typically run somewhat cold. This is true even with the Barkbusters on my KLR. A definite improvement in warmth over my Alpinestars GP Plus gloves (though those have held up **MUCH** better over time).
The lower part of the glove is a harder type pseduo-plastic which was somewhat difficult to get under the sleeves of my jacket. It would've been nice if this part was a bit more flexible.
Overall, though pretty good for cold weather riding, the cost and overall durability leave something to be desired. Also, if you are looking for a truly waterproof glove, you will want to look elsewhere as these get damp in moderate rain over 15min (even behind hand guards).

Great winter option
Great gloves. Keep my hands dry even in extended downpours. Fingers still get a little cold over extended rides, even with heated grips. Typical with my thinsulate experience, difficult to put on or remove when your hands are damp. Gloves are tight through the wrist area, but once they slip over your thumbs, they fit beatifully.

Comfortable protection
I'm glad I bought these. Look good and the lining on the inside is very comfortable. The only gripe I have is there is a seam on the inside of the index finger that bugs me sometimes. But that may go away once they are broken in more.

very good winter glove, not perfect
just went for a 20 minute ride in 34° weather. bottom line, hands warm, fingers frozen. 2 hrs later it's 43° and i ride back. hands warm, fingers cold (but not frozen#. the wind does not seem to be fully blocked from the fingers. this was a good test, b/c i have no windscreen nor heated grips. i'm very thankful that these gloves do make it possible to take a short ride on a cold day. they are less bulky than other winter gloves and still look like m/c gloves. one suggested improvement for Alpinestars: the cuff is great, just make the outer part with the velcro strap separate #not connected to the cuff). that way, the cuff is inside your jacket, and the 'outer cuff' would be outside your jacket. this would improve fit and function.

Well made, great attention to detail, excellent materials.
The gloves fit perfectly and are very well insulated against the cold. My hands don't sweat in the gloves and feel comfortable.
