Stitching came undone in one day. Sizing way off - had to ship 3X. Fine groves in bottom hold stone chips and make scratching noise when walking. Bad smelling rubber. Velcro flaps sure to come undone. No ventilation makes for hot sweaty feet. These have no business being called a motorcycling gear. More drop-shipped re-badged made-in-china shoddy goods from a high-price label. Needless to say DO NOT BUY
No, I do not recommend this product.

I rode for 7,500 miles on these shoes, went down 4 times, and they held together great. That's a testimony to their durability and protection. They are terrible in the rain, which is to be expected. Give them about 25 minutes to get water into your toes with typical Seattle rainfall. They look good under jeans too if you get off your bike and walk around. Great shoe.

Great design...one glaring issue

Love these except for one glaring design issue. The shift pad on the left boot tears very easily. My 1st pair were replaced via warranty, and now the 2nd pair is doing the same thing. It's a shame because these are very comfy and the price is good. These are made in china though and not Italy like "real" A* boots

Cons Flimsy

These shoes are the best ones out there. I use them for everyday riding mostly street and canyons. They are super comfortable, easy to walk in, and hold up well to abuse.
I would recommend these to anybody who rides.

Great riding shoes but very stiff and toe was cramped

Great riding boot. Looks really nice, valcro is a great feature. No armor on ankle area but the velcro and padding give it some thickness for protections. Boot is not heavy and feels great. The only issue is the boot is not wide at all. I don't have wide feet but my little toe felt really cramp. Order at least a size larger or you will be sorry.

Answer: 
These will absolutely not keep out the rain. you are okay if you ride for 20 minutes or less in rain, but after that, your toes will get saturated with water.

If you are caught in a light rain, these boots won't take on water, however, if you are riding in a downpour they will eventually soak.
