From the new Alpinestars/Dorna co-branded MotoGP® range, the Estoril jacket, which takes its name from the technically demanding and high speed Portuguese circuit, offers fans of the premier motorcycle racing class, riding apparel that is both technical and strong in its styling heritage.
Features:
Constructed using 600 Denier polyester fabric to provide the ultimate in abrasion resistance, mobility and functionality
The design lines give a streamlined/slim look, whilst a number of distinctively located MotoGP® and Alpinestars logos place this jacket at the head of the pack based on style
External padding located over the abdominal region provides additional comfort and security
The jacket comes complete with a range of adjustment features to make the fit more amicable with the rider including YKK zip operated sleeve closure and zip operated underarm ventilation
The waist diameter is also adjustable via a pair of Velcro® straps located at the rear base of the jacket
A removable thermal inner lining provides convenient climate management
Alpinestars CE approved Bio-Armor provides the rider with critical protection in essential areas
The armor has been positioned specifically on the shoulders and around the elbows and forearms to provide the ultimate in comfort and security
Additional safety can be obtained via the insertion of Alpinestars RC back protector (available as a separate accessory) in the specially located compartment
The jacket provides ample storage through six pockets, two externally, three internally in the removable jacket which is replicated in the main jacket construction upon removal, with one addition pocket on the internal jacket construction located inside the jackets zip for quick and easy access to essential items

I am 6'1" 200 lbs and tried a Large that did not fit. I exchanged it for a XL that fits comfortable snug. I expected to pay much more for a jacket of this quality. I added the optional chest and back protection and feel very secure riding in this jacket.

Used the size chart and the jacket is a good snug fit. Looks good and whilst warm on a 86°F day, I don't think there are many jackets that wouldn't be. Armor in the elbows and shoulders is not even noticeable once the jacket is on. I am very happy with this purchase and interested to see how it handles cooler weather with the zip in liner in place!
Was good value for the money at $219 but I wish I'd got it at $160 it's at now!!!

I purchased the MotoGP Estoril (Blue) jacket, and it is a great fit with great style. The jacket does breathe well, and has a zip in liner for those cool days. I purchased the Alpine Bionic Air Back protector as added back protection, and the sizes, of the back protector, match the jacket size. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a new daily riding jacket.
