Alpinestars Alpha Touring Waterproof Boots
Great starter boots! My first pair.
The boots arrived on time, no problems there. Upon opening them and trying them on the were very stiff to walk around in, but like any other boot, they'll get broken in. I wear a size 11.5 4E wide shoe, and the size 12 on the size conversion chart(47 UK) and these fit awesome! There are very comfortable, though I'm worried about how warm they will get once it starts warming up here(located in upper midwest). Can definitely feel the protection around the ankles and heel, and though I hope I never have to find out, I feel like these will provide more than enough protection in the event I get T-Boned or rear ended.

Nice boot, keeps me dry.
I didn't have any issues with the fit. As someone else said they are a little warm, they don't have the greatest airflow but with that said they do keep me dry in wet weather. I've had the pleasure of riding in a few storms with them and no moisture has seeped through at all. They are a little stiff and take a bit to break in but I feel like they would protect quite well in a crash. Good boot for the price.

Fantastic Boots for the Road - Not too shabby for off-road
These boots fit very well and are very comfortable. I wear these boots with Dainese New Drake Air Textile Pants and they tuck in without an issue. The zipper pull-tab is made of Velcro and is reassuring that it stays put during the ride.
I am sure that I have had countless items get thrown up from the road or dirt trails that have hit my boots - I haven't felt a single thing. The boots stuck very well to the foot pegs of my DRZ400s and helped with the height of the bike. However, I had stepped in some gasoline on the ground and noticed that my traction is immensely reduces on the cement - that wasn't necessarily true when I was walking through water/mud on the trails though.
There was a time when I had to go through about 8" of mud to help get my friend's bike out and didn't notice a thing. The mud cleaned up very easily. I also walked through about 8" of water to get back to my bike afterwards and no water infiltrated to my socks.
Overall, stylish boots for when you wear motorcycle pants or jeans and offer fantastic protection. The waterproofing is fantastic.

Good bang for the buck, super hot though.
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend and this is his comment: Great value, perfect sport touring boots if you don't mind sweaty boots.

Great winter riding boots
I was looking for a winter riding boot that was affordable but not made cheaply. These Alpinestars Alpha Touring Waterproof Boots fit the bill and didn't break the bank. I am really impressed with the comfort. The sole is supportive but not hard. I recommend these riding boots.

Good Value But Ergonomics Compromised by Zipper Location
These boots replaced a similar pair of Alpinestars that I totally wore out. The zippered opening is now on the outside of the boot, which makes it nearly impossible to get two hands involved in zipping it up. The previous boots I had from this outfit had the zipper on the inside, which is easier to get two hands involved. They are very stiff, especially on first wearing, but the zips loosen enough to make them less frustrating with a couple of uses. Functionally, they are waterproof, warm, and very supportive. Great value with just a little annoyance with the zipper location.

First pair of motorcycle boots
Previously I had ridden in hiking boots only so these are my first pair of motorcycle boots. They are comfortable for the most part although my ankles can get sore occasionally from the positioning. Mine have been waterproof so far having ridden in a couple of moderate showers but nothing too heavy.
