High Quality Visor
This is a great visor, high quality construction. I went with the blue iridium for my GP Tech "Faces" helemet and it coordinates perfectly. Appears to be light smoke when looking from inside out but looking from the outside in, you're able to be incognito.

AGV Faceshield Color Smoke
For those of you still rockin the sunglasses under the clear faceshield, go out and purchase youself a tinted visor! You'll be glad you did! Love the smoke color but I wouldn't advise wearing it at night. During the day though, i wouldn't ride without it! The smoke color it crystal clear looking out but dark enough that others looking in can't see what you're up to!

great shield
simply a great shield. clear is very clear and.dark smoke is tinted just dark enough. i struggled changing the first time. after that its been a breeze.

Good shield
Overall this shield works well on the GP-Tech helmet. I purchased the smoke version so it was hard to see through the shield to install it the first time. No big deal but would be nice to make that portion of the shield clear for easier installation.

It's OK
I bought the silver shield and it wasn't quite silver like pictured. It was daker and seems like a reflective dark tinit. It also started chipping within the first 200 miles of being worn. It's ok but if you order one of the colored ones don't be surprised if it starts chipping and scratching.

For the 5 Continents Helmet, the blue visor would match well since the helmet has a good amount of blue on it. For the Black helmet, gold or silver are the most common choices from our customers. We also have several employee's here that have a solid black helmet who use a gold mirror visor. Ultimately the choice is up to the rider, but any of the mirrored shields will work well for day time riding, as they help to reduce the glare from the sun and offer some tinting as well.8 months ago

Which is the clear one that comes with the GP Tech? I'm looking to get a darker visor to use for the bright, hot, sunny days here in LA. Would the anti-fog functionality matter in such a situation? Also is there any sort of polarization to these, or would it be a good idea to wear oakleys or something underneath the visor? (I typically wear them when driving my car, but I'm new to motorcycles)

For fair weather riding, the anti-fog properties won't really matter. These faceshields do protect from UV-A and UV-B, but are not polarized.Age: 25-34

I don't think that you'd benefit from anti-fog functionality in LA, unless it's a super humid day, and if that's the case, open the visor a bit and vent it out. No polarization to the dark smoke, and no need to wear oakleys. The dark color is great. I'm in Tucson, AZ where's it's bright and hot. The only thing I'd be wary of is riding this when it is dark, because it does indeed tint quite a bit! I'd say just grab this one, skip the anti-fog.Age: 25-34

I live in LA also, and although i love the dark shield so i dont have to wear sunglasses when i ride, i do find the fogging a bit of an annoyance.you dont see it (the fogging) when your riding, mostly at stop lights and so forth.

I'm not sure if the smoke tint shield is polarized (probably not, might be more expensive) or if it has anti fog coating (probably does) but I haven't had any issues with either. On a recent hot, bright day (around 90°f) I had no pockets for my sun glasses while riding, had to wear them under the tinted visor and there wasn't much difference with the sun glasses on or off (visor up or down). Tinted visor does a very good job blocking the sun by itself. Hope this helpsAge: 35-44
