I purchased the dark smoke version.
From the outside, you cannot see into the helmet at all - it's just glossy black. From the inside, you get a perfect level of darkness that reduces glare and eye strain. I would not feel comfortable riding at night with it though.
I can never see myself going back to a clear visor during daylight hours.

Super visor and fits my AGV T-2 helmet like a glove. Excellent for day riding. Make sure not to get caught far from home at dusk though as it is well tinted.

Great for SoCal Spring riding
Now that it's sunny on the way to work and on the way home, this visor keeps me from going blind when the sun is low in the sky. Even on hazy overcast days, it hasn't been a problem.

Adrian A: I had some money to spend so I spent it. It makes me feel good about myself sometimes.Nov 16, 2014
A shopper asked:What's the difference between this anti-fog shield and the other face shield that is available on the website. My T-2 came with a stock shield which is dark, so I need to buy a replacement as I can't drive with that in the dark.
Please let know if the Anti-fog shield has a pinlock otherwise how does the anti-fog work ?
Francisco M:I ride with the smoke visor and I am not sure what AGV has on it, but I can assure you that the anti-fog really works. In Chicago I've been riding from 38F all the way up to 100F and this shield seems to get the job done. I have the GP-Tech though which also as a ventilated feature below the shield that let some air flow through the front of the helmet and the visor. Maybe this does the trick. Not sure. Hope I could help and safe riding!Jan 13, 2015
MIKE A:Hello, I'm no expert on shields, and truth is I've only used this helmet at track days, so I've only used the dark shield so far. That said, I feel confident in recommending you get the anti-fog shield as I believe it has chemical components in the shield which resist fogging up, thereby avoiding the need for a pin lock system. Hope this helps.Jan 13, 2015
