Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windscreen Honda NC700X

Zero Gravity is proud to introduce their tallest performance windscreen, the Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windscreen. This windscreen is designed to maximize your riding pleasure with superior wind protection. The Sport Touring Windscreen features a unique design, crafted to reduce the windblast on the rider and provide a more comfortable ride while in the touring and sport touring riding positions.

All Zero Gravity Windscreens feature optically clear acrylic that absorbs vibration, resists cracking and are fabricated using highly specialized vacuum forming techniques, similar to those used to form aircraft canopies. The result is a virtually distortion free windscreen with the finest optical clarity on the market. Additionally, light scratches can be buffed out of acrylic windscreens as opposed to polycarbonate windscreens that can be permanently marred.

Features:

  • Shock resistant
  • Vacuum formed
  • Distortion free

Does what is intended
I'm a big guy, 6'2", 260lbs with a 34" inseam. With the factory windscreen on the NC700 in the highest position, the wind would hit me directly under the helmet. With this windscreen, it hits me about the top of the helmet. This does cause some major buffeting at highway speeds and a lot of wind noise. It looks great though and the fit is dead on. If you are a tall person, you will need a taller windscreen than this one if you don't want the buffeting or wind noise.

Honda NC700X - higher windscreen made a big difference
For the Honda NC700X the higher windscreen made a big difference. I did not give the product 5 stars because if you are over 6ft there is still an issue with wind hitting the helmet. I may try to find longer bolts and a few washers to see if I can fine tune the angle a little.

The screen looks great and the price was right. Much better than the stock screen. I would recommend the product.

Easy install
This windscreen was very easy to install. I was up and running in ten minutes. I get much more protection than the factory offering.

Looks great, works pretty well.
I love the look of this windscreen, and glad it's consistent with the previous reviews on Revzilla.....favoring more form over function. Not really doing any long, extensive rides, so works perfectly for what I need.

defineatly and improvement from stock
as with most reviews the stock wind screen diverted so air but not enough. I'm 5'8", With zero gravity I felt improvement but about 3 inches more would be perfect so I'll be looking for an extension. One prop for Revilla I ordered my screen on Sunday and expected it in a week I was amazed how fast it got here.

Could be taller
Windshield was shorter than I expected and unfortunately it doesn't do what I was hoping it would, which was to kick the bugs over my face shield. However, it fit the bike perfectly, especially in the dark smoke color, mounted perfectly, does take some of the pressure off my body and did not create any buffeting. I've ordered a Laminar Lip in the hope that addition will get those pesky bugs up and over my face shield.

Looks great and more wind protection than stock!
I replaced the stock windscreen on my 2012 Honda NC700X with a Zero Gravity Tour screen and the wind protection is much better than stock. The ZG screen moved the wind that was hitting my chest to the top of my helmet. Plus I think it looks great on my NC!

Doing reseach ion the internet you have gotten the best reviews

I wanted a way to reduce wind on my Honda CTX700N and with a little..ok alot of work it came out great. I had to remove the headlight and shroud to access the shield to drill and mount too. Once done it looks great, but squeaks a little.

Does this windscreen work with the Barkbusters Storm hand guards?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question about hand guards. Unfortunately I don't use them, but when I turn the bars hard right or left....there's about 1" clear on either side of the shield. The Honda NC700X DCT bars are pretty crowded in that area because of transmission controls, etc. Good luck.
What's the size of this winscreen ?
A shopper on Feb 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen for Honda NC700X is about 4.5" taller than the stock screen. I am 6'1", but sit slouched on the motorcycle, and the wind hits me on the helmet, while the stock screen protects up to mid-chest. It does not look big and obnoxious, on the bike. I have a smoke version, and it complements the bike nicely, although the smaller (stock) screen looks better on the bike. It takes 2 minutes to exchange screens, so if you plan on doing longer rides, I recommend this screen.
