Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen for Yamaha FZ 6 R

  • Best optics of any windscreen on the market. All are fabricated using highly specialized "blow molding" techniques similar to those used to form aircraft canopies. The result is virtually disortion-free optics
  • Made from the finest grade of 1/8" acrylic plastic. Each windscreen is stretched as it is formed, a process which results in superior strength and flexibility. This flexibility allows the windscreen to absorb road vibrations and resist cracking
  • Factory drilled holes and profiles that match your OEM fairing for a precise fit
  • Used by the best Superbike, Grand Prix, Supersport and Endurance teams in America, Zero Gravity windscreens dominate road racing

Nice upgrade Definitely cuts the wind way better than stock. Takes about 60 seconds to install, fits wells and looks better than stock (I bought light smoke). I'm 6'3, with the stock windscreen, I was getting blasted in the chest anywhere above 60mph. With the Zero Gravity installed, the wind hits me in the upper shoulders and above, and I ride with the seat in elevated position. And if I tuck just a little the wind is entirely on my helmet, and off my body completely. A lot more comfortable to ride at highway speeds. Highly recommended. April 21, 2014
Best upgrade for the FZ6R Airflow is vastly improved. It completely eliminated the buffeting produced by the stock windshield. Totally transformed the riding experience. Looks great, works great, well made. Highly recommended. August 15, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Ronald H: Purely for looks in my case. I think this wind screen is much better looking than my stock one on my 12' FZ6R. Feb 26, 2014

A shopper asked: question on double bubble v. the sr series. in the video anthony mentions that the double bubble would be better for the track but in the images for the fz6r sr series, it looks to me like it is more aero than the double bubble. can anyone confirm that the double bubble is better than the sr series? thank you! Kim R: I guess it depends on what you mean by 'better'. I prefer the double bubble as it deflects more wind over my head without forcing me to get into a full tuck (on either the freeway or track).

As far as I can tell all MotoGP bikes use a double bubble design (or similar).

Jorel P: I think so..... it definitely is functional and looks better in my opinion. But its about the buyers wants and needs. If you wanna cut drag and not tuck so hard at high speeds I say double bubble. Aug 27, 2013

Nicholas T: SR is just a stock styled windshield. Even at full tuck there's a ton of drag and buffeting. The DB cuts a ton of the buffeting, and gives a little more aerodynamic flow. Aug 28, 2013

Michael D: The SR windscreen is just a duplicate of your stock windscreen, but made out of acrylic instead of polycarbonate. The Double Bubble is more aerodynamic, and is better suited for the track. MotoGP bikes use the Corsa, but unfortunately the Corsa is not available for the Hayabusa. Sep 3, 2013

Harry B: I changed out to a double bubble on my 2011 R1 that I use mostly for the track. Its a huge improvement over stock. It reduces turbulence and gives me more space while tucked. Not a very fast rider but it works well even past 140 mph on the straights. Aug 27, 2013

Jonathan T: The SR has a profile similar to the stock windscreen. The double bubble would be more efficient at diverting the air up and over and around the rider. I remember having to still tuck in a bit to get out of the wind stream. Aug 27, 2013
