Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen Kawasaki Z1000 2010-2013
Good for getting the wind off your chest, increases wind noise
The major problem I have with this windscreen probably has to do with height, so I'll preface this by saying I'm a 5'10" rider.
If you're buying a windscreen for this bike, it's probably to get the wind off your chest at high speeds. This performs at that function excellently. However, at my height I also found it increased the turbulence of air around my helmet very noticeably, and even with earplugs in a Shoei RF-1200, it can sometimes be aggravating (at least as compared to the blissful whisper of having no windshield at all). If you sit tall enough naturally to avoid the wind stream, which I myself can do by just sitting up straighter, you'll be fine. Likewise, if you tuck behind the screen you'll be fine. But you should expect that most screens will behave like this and make your riding experience louder. I docked one from "Performance" for this reason, even though it may be something only I dislike.
I docked one bar from "Ease of Install" as well because, while installation instructions were extremely straightforward and clear, actually putting the bugger on was more painful than I felt it should be. I wasn't even sure it was going to fit, because it seemed the holes drilled for mounting were drilled just slightly off the proper distance. Eventually it did fit, and it seems very secure, but I was afraid I would have to contact customer service about it for a while. Not nearly as easy to put on as the stock windscreen (or cosmetic windscreen-like hardware). Installation time was still minimal.
I docked one bar from "finish" because it included an absolutely awful "Zero Gravity" sticker on the front surface of the screen. Removing this sticker leaves a lot of residue, which you'll need alcohol or something similar to remove. How this got past quality assurance, I'll never understand, because it's nothing but an extra pain for the consumer to take care of, and could have been avoided by simply neglecting to include it, saving both the manufacturer and consumer time & money. Otherwise, it seems like very high-quality acrylic material, especially if you're used to a polycarbonate plastic windscreen.
Overall, I would recommend one of these to a friend, with the caveat that it could increase wind noise quite a bit. The end result still satisfies me, even if a couple things about installation and additional work on my part were annoying.

This windshield works great on the 2012 z1000. It is a hassle free bolt on addition to the bike. Helps keep the wind off you, which is nice for long trips( or any trip for that matter).

Good product, would recommend to anyone wanting more protection from the wind!!
The Zero Gravity Double Bubble wind screen receives high marks from me. It looks great on my 2010 Z1000, offers noticeably more protection from the wind than the original (which offered zero protection), and was easy to install.
In terms of looks, the Zero Gravity Double Bubble looks great on the bike. A very good job was done making sure it flowed well with the design of the bike. As for functionality, the wind screen is about six inches longer that the original (which was merely for looks). The additional six inches pushes the wind (I'm 6'1) off my chest and up to the top of my shoulders when riding upright and to the top of my helmet when I'm tucked in. This is a big help when I get up to speed on the freeway and/or go on all day rides.
I would recommend this addition to anyone looking for additional protection from the wind.

Bolted right on and looks great
Windscreen was easy to install provides more wind protection although as you can imagine not full protection. Much better than stock and looks better. Recommend.
