Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen Kawasaki KLR650 2008-2016 Videos

Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen Kawasaki KLR650

The Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen is the most popular windscreen with in the Zero Gravity family. Its innovative "bubble within a bubble" design was pioneered by Zero Gravity and provides the perfect amount of wind protection for riding in the tuck or sport riding position. Additionally, each windscreen has been sculpted to enhance the lines of each individual motorcycle. Style and protection, it’s a perfect combo.

All Zero Gravity Windscreens feature optically clear acrylic that absorbs vibration, resists cracking and are fabricated using highly specialized vacuum forming techniques, similar to those used to form aircraft canopies. The result is a virtually distortion free windscreen with the finest optical clarity on the market. Additionally, light scratches can be buffed out of acrylic windscreens as opposed to polycarbonate windscreens that can be permanently marred.

Features:

 • Shock resistant
 • Vacuum formed
 • Distortion free

Nice looking, not quite tall enough.
I really like the look of this windshield, especially the tinted with my black bike. Unfortunately the wind is now displaced right at the visor of my Arai XD-4. This creates a fluttering effect. The Stock windshield directs he flow at my upper torso and creates an updraft that pushes the head and chest back but with no fluttering on the visor.
The touring windshield may be the answer. FYI - 6' 2"

Excellent fit and finish
The stock windshield on the KLR650 is too short in my opinion. I ordered the Zero Gravity double bubble in light smoke because I wanted a shield that was slightly taller. The quality and fit were perfect, and it gives me a little more protection. I'm 5'10" and I can ride down the hwy with no buffeting. Very pleased with this product.

Great for KLR650
Really added to sharp looks of my 13 KLR650 and lifts the air flow a bit overhead. This matched with a riser would be great combo.

Excellent product. Exactly what I was looking for.
I'm 6'2 and was looking for a taller windshield to help with the wind. I can actually turn my head now without feeling like it's being twisted.

I left the original windshield on the bike and added the double bubble with a riser. Leaving the original in place also gives me a nice place to stick my gloves when i stop.

this was a great upgrade!
I have been very pleased with the new windscreen. it redirects the airflow off of my body and makes highway riding much more comfortable.

Looks nice in smoke with mask
Very happy with this screen. Has a good visual appeal in person that the pics don't really do justice to. Airflow in nice for me. Not too quiet but more so than the stock barrage of buffeting. I am 6 feet zero with a SS2500 dual sport helmet. At my height, don't expect this screen to be like a goldwing bu rather an improvement. If you want a quiet pocket of air you need something larger and adjustable.

A better alternative to the stock windshield
I was looking for a windshield that redirected the air without being too big and looking goofy. The stock piece on the KLR had the wind hitting me right at neck level. The Zero Gravity screen moves the airflow up to face level and bleeds a little off to the side. While not removing the airflow altogether, I am still happy with it. Since I wear a full face dual sport helmet, it is a marked improvement.

I wouldn't get it.
I feel the point of the windshield is to deflect air. This came on my KLR, and I took it off and it was quieter. It creates so much turbulence around your head that it makes it loud. I literally have tinnitus after a long ride with this. I needs to be taller, I'm only 5'7"

Nice, but not as ordered and improper fit
So I was looking for a new shield for my KLR and heard great things about this one, so I pulled the trigger and ordered the smoked with the mask. However, somehow REVZILLA got it confused and my order was CHANGED to the one without the mask. Reason this is important is that the mask hides the electronics behind your dash like the stock one.

On top of that, its very flimsy (flexes) and when you ride without a helmet, you get slapped around quite a bit. It also doesnt fill the gap all the way around like the stock, allowing water on top of your headlight.

With a full face, I noticed a nice bubble as they claim, altho there was some downward pressure on my neck that Ive never had before.

Nice looking windshield.

The KLR 650 on the highway can be a bit of a white-knuckled ride. So after doing some research most have said the Double-Bubble should help with a bit more air deflection away from my body. Hopefully I'm only white-knuckled because of thrill, not the combination of thrill and a whipping vortex!

What does clear with vinyl mask look like?
A shopper on Aug 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The clear screen has an opaque black mask with a slight matte finish that integrates nicely with the stock faring. I am very pleased with the screen and like the implied 'rally look' it gives to my 2012. ZT
