Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen Honda CBR600RR

The Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen is the most popular windscreen with in the Zero Gravity family. Its innovative "bubble within a bubble" design was pioneered by Zero Gravity and provides the perfect amount of wind protection for riding in the tuck or sport riding position. Additionally, each windscreen has been sculpted to enhance the lines of each individual motorcycle. Style and protection, it’s a perfect combo.

All Zero Gravity Windscreens feature optically clear acrylic that absorbs vibration, resists cracking and are fabricated using highly specialized vacuum forming techniques, similar to those used to form aircraft canopies. The result is a virtually distortion free windscreen with the finest optical clarity on the market. Additionally, light scratches can be buffed out of acrylic windscreens as opposed to polycarbonate windscreens that can be permanently marred.

Features:

  • Shock resistant
  • Vacuum formed
  • Distortion free

Best Windscreen for the CBR PERIOD!
I have seen and used almost every windscreen possible. The Zero Gravity is just perfect in every way. The categories i would throw it in which is the main reason most of you are considering this product in the first place is Performance/Appearance.

Performance- The windscreen is taller than stock and provides more cover when tucked in. Not much else to say it does its job and it does it well. Will do my first track day with it this year and am not worried one bit.

Appearance- It is THE BEST LOOKING WINDSHIELD PERIOD! it doesn't get much better than this. The Puig is just an oem windscreen with a tiny little bulge. The Hotbodies doesn't fit right half the time. Best bang for your buck and look wise is this windshield. It has a nice bulge down the middle which gives it an aggressive look to it. Double bubble black is just sick looking. Plus you can actually see through the dark tint when tucked in. Don't waste your money on any other windshield!

Looks great and excellent function
Exactly what I wanted. I debated for a long time choosing between the Corsa, touring or double bubble. I am so happy I went with the double bubble. Looking at it on the bike I think the other two would have looked rediculous, and the double bubble works perfectly for my 6'2 body.

Works Great
We bought the dark smoke double-bubble for our 2009 Honda CBR600rr. It does a great job of deflecting the wind at highway speeds. Makes it much more comfortable to ride.
installation was easy and windscreen seems to be very well constructed. Also looks great! I would highly recommend. Revzilla also matched a lower price which was appreciated.

Definitely an improvement over the OEM shield
I've put about 1000 miles on my bike since installing this shield, and can say that there's definitely a noticeable improvement over the stock/OEM windshield (which I was using for the previous 7000 miles). Once you get past regular highway speeds, wind resistance will be noticeable once again, but this is to be expected at those speeds, with practically any shield.

For regular commuting (which is what I am most often doing), it works wonders. Definitely recommended to anyone who wants to reduce wind buffeting to their head/helmet, without getting a gigantic touring windshield.

Great Windscreen
Great product by Zero Gravity. I have two of these windscreens and they perform and look great. I have never had them warp or fade. Dark smoke looks the best in my personal opinion.

Lower bubble than full size Zero G bubble windscreen that I ride with in the winter. This one helps reduce buffeting but you still get good airflow unless you duck down to the tank.

Good product and wanted something to push the air up and over while on highway rides.

I chose this Windscreen, because I thought it would add a slight aggressiveness to the CBR's sleek calm frame.

Is the darkest color option so dark you can't see the gauge cluster at night? I appreciate the dark smoke look but am slightly apprehensive that it is so dark I will not be able to see speed / gas range / trip information easily if its dark outside. This would be on a 2012 CBR 600RR.
Brash on Nov 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's just for looks. If you're riding it doesn't obscure your view. I will say if you're riding at night and in the full tuck position it does make it a little hard to see what's in front of you but that would only be an issue if you're road racing (which you shouldn't be doing of course). All in all it looks the best for aesthetic purposes.
