Zero Gravity Corsa Windscreen Honda CBR1000RR

The Zero Gravity Corsa Windscreen has been designed from the ground up, in collaboration with professional racers from around the world, to provide the best wind protection while maintaining excellent aerodynamics. Slightly larger than the Zero Gravity Double Bubble, the Corsa Windscreen creates a larger pocket for riders to get behind. The Corsa is best suited for road racers and tall riders that require wind protection at high speeds for a long duration of time.

All Zero Gravity Windscreens feature optically clear acrylic that absorbs vibration, resists cracking and are fabricated using highly specialized vacuum forming techniques, similar to those used to form aircraft canopies. The result is a virtually distortion free windscreen with the finest optical clarity on the market. Additionally, light scratches can be buffed out of acrylic windscreens as opposed to polycarbonate windscreens that can be permanently marred.

Features:

  • Tall aggressive shape
  • Shock resistant
  • Vacuum formed
  • Distortion free

My second one
Best windscreen for the money. Amazing how much wind it deflects. Makes long freeway rides and cold night riding so much more enjoyable. Did crack from a stone impact when being trailered though, why its my second one. Won't buy anything else.

Good wind protection, looks good on my CBR1000RR
I had bought this same windscreen from a different company and received two with broken off tabs so I saw they were in stock from Revzilla and placed my order. The screen was very easy to install, just take your time with the bottom little hooks on the 2008-newer CBR1000's and all will be good. I am 5'11" and with the stock windscreen I would be in almost a full tuck to get out of the wind at highway speed, now just a slight duck of my head and I'm mostly out of the main blast of air.
They only make the corsa in clear and light smoke but the light smoke is actually a little darker than i thought it was going to be which for me is a good thing, so for anyone thats concerned with it you'll still be able to see through it when tucked but if its getting dark out it will be like looking through a smoke faceshield just to give you an idea of the color tint it is.
So far no rock chips or beetles trying to take it out but i have only had it on for the end of the last riding season here in western PA so longevity has yet to be tested but I expect it to be very good coming from the top name in windscreens.
Overall very pleased with this purchase from Revzilla as the last couple have been very easy and the fact that they have very competitive pricing keeps this site as my first go to when it comes to bike stuff.

Why did you choose this?
RevZilla Store
I am 5'11" and a bodybuilder and need the extra wind protection. I chose clear because form should follow function and an important function of a windscreen is visibility/optical clarity; when I tuck I want to be able to see the road ahead of me.

Does the extra height of the Corsa take getting used to coming from the Stock windscreen?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Not at all. If fact, you'll wonder why you didn't convert to the Corsa sooner! This removed the wind buffeting that I was getting to the upper chest and helmet area in certain riding positions on my CBR1000 Limited. And as Craig said..... you don't have to hunker down on the tank near as much to avoid the wind. Much, much more comfortable on rides!
