Yuasa YTX9-BS AGM Battery

This is the new generation of maintenance-free batteries from the largest motorcycle battery manufacturer in the world! Over 50 years of engineering expertise ensures high-quality construction for long and trouble-free service. Their use of Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Separators is an advanced battery technology that eliminates the need to ever add water. Their advanced lead-calcium alloy holds its specific gravity more than 3 times longer than conventional lead antimony batteries. This equates to a battery that can go much longer between charges when used in standby mode, like winter storage. This is truly the world's finest "install it and forget it" motorcycle battery! Ron Popeil would be proud.

Features:

  • Packs more power, discharges less in storage and has a longer life than conventional batteries
  • Spill-proof design and construction have passed vibration and pressure differential spill-proof tests
  • Acid is absorbed in special plates and AGM separators
  • Dimensions: 6" long, 3 7/16" wide, 4 3/16" high
  • 135 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps)
  • 1 year manufacturer's warranty
  • Does not come charged
  • Acid pack included
  • Made in the USA
  • Battery is non-returnable once acid has been installed

Best battery for the money
I am just now replacing my stock battery that came with my 2011 ZX-6R which happened to be this battery. There was no reason to not replace the battery with the same product.

Lifespan: 4-5 years. The original battery was installed in 2010 with my new 2011 Kawasaki ZX-6R.

Issues: None what so ever. I ride all year so it never failed me. It started up in 30 degrees Fahrenheit which no issues. Even when the bike had to sit for 2 weeks because of snow, it started right back up.

Price: You might spend a lot more money on a gel battery or something equivalent but I think this battery gives you the best bang for your buck.

Ease of use: I don't think it could be easier. All you need to do is peel off the tape from the top of the battery, line up the plastic container that contains the electrolyte, and push down. There is no risk of spilling any electrolyte because the plastic container is sealed and the seals are broken when you press the container down against the battery. You then charge it for a couple hours with a Battery Tender and that's it!

Customer Service: Always perfect. They even price matched so I got the guaranteed lowest price any where on the internet.

Excellent product! Way cheaper than going to a shop.
My Triumph battery was going on 4 years and was starting to die slowly. Decided I'd replace the battery after having it tested. I read multiple reviews before purchasing this battery, virtually all comments were positive. The shipping as usual with Revzilla was super fast. You have to let the acid soak into the battery and give it a solid charge before actually putting it on your bike but once those are done the bike fired right up with absolutely no issue. Revzilla will always be getting my business.

Good battery
Hey for the money you definitely can't get a better battery I have a Scorpion, Battery Tender, Garmin GPS, and a PCv so I had to go to the hardware store because the stock bolts were not long enough to reach the blocks at the bottom of the +/- terminals. A little annoying it wasn't a problem with my last battery but an easy fix. The top seals very tightly. Best parts are that it doesn't get any fresher than make at home, and it's made in the USA that makes a difference to me and US & German batteries seem to be the best. Watch the video on YouTube gives information on immediate usage etc.

good reviews by other buyers. Also recommended by Ethan of Revzilla, I need my bike for early morning cold starts and I don't ride every day. This was recommended to have better success in this type of situation.

YuasaBatteries dot com search for 2010 Street Triple R pulls up YUAM729BS
, where as Revzilla shows YUAM329BS. What is the difference and which one would fit a Street Triple?
nitin c on May 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Called Yuasa and found out that the 729BS is factory prepared, meaning the acid is already added to the battery and hence is ready to go once dropped into the bike. Where as with the 329BS the acid would be added once you are ready to install.
Downside of 729BS is that without knowing when the battery was prepared you may be getting a suboptimal battery.
