Gabriel G:If you plan on upgrading this season then no, I would not purchase the slip on. If plan on driving the 250 this season, make the investment, it is worth it! It will be a whole new bike I promise. Yoshimura trc is a beast! It's a loud, deep and aggressive sound! Hope this helps. Btw I wouldn't bother with YouTube. Home video sound quality does no justice. when it's in person, you'll be amazed. May 17, 2014
Robert S:It really all depends on how soon you plan to upgrade to a bigger bike, if you plan for a year on the 250 than toss on the slip on, you'll be happier with the sound and performance, yoshi is a sound product that is durable and will last through your beginner riding stages, I put a yoshi on my first bike a ninja650r and was pleased with the resultsMay 17, 2014
A shopper asked:so this is going to be my first bike and I was wondering if getting an up grad for it so soon would be a bad idea? What effect will this new tail pipe have on the performance of the bike? Will it make it faster or start quicker from a dead stop?Oct 10, 2013
Beth C:I put this slip on muffler on my first bike after owning the bike for a year. If you're just getting the slip on then all it will do is make the bike sound different (in a good way), when I put this slip on on my bike I had to put the baffle in as the muffler didnt have as much back pressure as the stock which caused my bike to stall when the engine was cold. If you want increased performance then you'll have to replace the entire exhaust system not just the muffler. I love how this muffler sounds and looks so if thats what your after then I defiantly recommend it.Oct 14, 2013
