Yoshimura RS-4 Street Slip-On Exhaust Triumph Tiger 800 / 800XC

While the RS-4 was debuted as Yoshimura's premier exhaust for off-road racing applications, R&D couldn't stop there. They have mated this sophisticated and stylish muffler to compliment the styling of the new bike. The RS-4 is pentagonal shaped muffler that features a carbon fiber cone end cap, two staged stepped baffle and striking good looks. The RS-4 muffler features a new front cap design that functions as a polyresonant chamber. thus creating a more quiet muffler with improved mid to top end power.

Along with improving sound and power, this system moves the muffler weight lower and closer to the bike for improved handling and weight distribution. Yoshimura continues to provide the best in performance exhaust systems.

Slip-On Systems include RS-4 muffler, laser cut heatshield, and all necessary hardware for installation.

Note: This exhaust is CARB compliant. Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.

A shopper asked: Does the quiet noise insert come with pipe or is it extra? If it's installed, how do you remove it? Does anyone else have experience with mapping other than arrow map? Jan 26, 2015

Michael W: I have this exhaust on my Tiger800. I don't recall seeing or reading anything about a noise insert. I don't believe it came with a removable baffle or anything. The exhaust isn't obnoxiously loud out of the box anyway.

As far as mapping goes. I contacted Yoshimura directly when I installed mine and within 5 minutes they called me right back. They stated that factory mapping is the best for the exhaust and that's what they recommend you run it with. The dealer also confirmed this when I had the bike in for a check up. Ive put almost 3,000 miles on the bike before the winter with the exhaust and no issues at all. Great product.

A S asked: Hi,
Just wondering is the quiet noise insert removable?

Michael C: It's removable. With the decibel insert in the can is still pretty loud on my Tiger 800XC. It sounds great at idle, and after installing the Arrow map it also sounds fantastic under load / deceleration. Jul 17, 2014
