The deep, pleasing sound of the RS-5 is due to it's four-sided trapezoidal muffler shape. The unique shape is aggressive looking and detailed, and it accentuates the lines of the CBR600RR like no other pipe. But there's more to this pipe than mere good looks. The high-flow, straight-through baffle design allows for maximum performance, while the stainless steel internals add durability and strength. The newer round outlet gives this already potent muffler even more power, plus an updated look that racers love!
Slip-On System includes the RS-5 muffler, stainless steel tail-pipe, and all necessary hardware for installation.

Easy Install and Solid Quality
First off, Revzilla was great. I received my order within days, was informed of my ship date via tracking ID within 24 hours and received points for my purchase. This is the second Yoshi pipe I've purchased and wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. Yoshi has a solid design, great look and solid design. The pipe was very easy to install, I did watch a quick tutorial video on YouTube prior to the install just to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. Just want to tank Revzilla for having the best price available on the net for this pipe. This was my first purchase from Revzilla and definitely made me a future customer.

Easy install, Sounds great
Shipping this to California with two day shipping.
When I ordered I got an email from revzilla customer service about how they had to ship it by ground instead of air to me because of California's CARB laws.
It still arrived on time.
The install required only basic tools (Metric sockets, Metric Allen key sockets).
Install for me took 2 1/2 hours with a couple breaks.
The instructions included are very helpful but there's also a plethora of youtube videos showing you how to install for practically any make/model bike.
When installed, everything fit snugly, the positioning of the pipe didn't interfere with my fender eliminator kit (Custom made, between where the side reflectors in the back are).
The pipe looks great, doesn't stick out far at all, can still see the Yoshimura logo on the side even with stock light brackets.
And it sounds absolutely beautiful under any RPM.
The silencer is not needed in my opinion.

A shopper asked:Does this item come with a silencer? I am looking for a slip on exhaust that isn't too loud when idling but get louder as the rpm gets higher, would you recommend this one?Sep 7, 2013
JOMARC A:It does come with a silencer, but there is no pre-drilled hole for the screw insert. Which is really no big deal since it doesn't take much to do it yourself. I myself don't have it attached because I find it tolerable. As for the sound it's exactly how you describe it. Nice deep perfect idle that isn't too loud and a very nice sporty sound as it gets past 7,000 RPM. I hope this helped, good luck!Sep 17, 2013
