Fraction of the price of adjustable rearsets. Superior to adjustable footpeg. Only drawback is, when using the highest position, the shift rod is a little long for GP shift pattern. Requires some additional trimming of the counter sprocket cover and downward adjustment of the shift lever is limited due to rear rod joint hitting bottom of peg (depending on type of peg used). October 12, 2015
Better foot positioning & more adjustable! With the stock setup, my heel was lifting off the peg while changing gears. With the Yoshimura rearset brackets installed, with the straight shift rod they supply, you can adjust the angle of the shifter to the peg for a better fit on ANY foot. Not to mention, the 2 new mounting locations create a more aggressive riding position, that I prefer over the stock setup. These brackets gave me all the adjustability that I needed & then some, without having to spend $300-$500 for new adjustable rearsets. I highly recommend this product. October 5, 2015
Yoshimura Rearset Risers 2012 Ninja 250 This is an excellent product that does exactly what I needed to! Raises the rearsets and gives more ground clearance and I don't need to spend nearly as much extra money on rearsets. Now my ground clearance issue is from the kickstand, so the risers add plenty. Cheapest Deal for Rearsets I've had these brackets on my 'lil Ninja 250 and from comparing stock foot placement and now - it's quite substantial. These brackets were somewhat a disappointment because of the limitation of how far you can push your rear sets back (for there are only two options), but I find it to be enough. The only problem I ran into is that when you install the brackets, you will need to cut you rear brake line shorter to prevent the line from kinking: because you essentially will be pushing the rear sets closer to the back of the bike. Other than that, being 5'7'', I can totally feel a difference in ergonomics: I have better confidence while in the twisties than ever before. Not only that, but it did rise the pegs higher: leaving me not to worry about my feet grabbing the road on aggressive leans. As the cheapest way to getting racing-style rear sets, this attachment is a great deal because you won't ever have to worry about ever going down and bending up your $300 rear sets. Will soon experiment with attaining some clip-ons next... January 20, 2015
Great Product, Perfect with clip ons and aftermarket rearsets Got these installed in 15 mins. Great product and no issues. These combined with aftermarket rearsets and clip ons make for a perfect set up for the 300. December 12, 2014
Perfect with WoodCraft Clipons Very affordable rear sets. Perfect when paired with WoodCraft Clipons. For ABS models, you will have to unhook the ABS hose/wire from the clip in order to install the rear set (otherwise it would not reach). Hopefully in the long run, it's not over stretching but so far the tension is not so tight. It was difficult for me to unhook the wire, but eventually got it out. October 8, 2014
Much better than the stock position I am 5' 10" and this put my body in a much better position. Feels more natural to me. Add some clip-ons and you'll be in heaven. Highly recommended if you are uncomfortable in the stock position or just want a more aggressive seating position with clip-ons. Well worth the price. June 25, 2014
Great value! Best bang for you buck! Gives the bike a more aggressive feel. June 9, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Benjamin F: Needed to raise pegs to stop dragging them, didn't quite work but I get more lean out of the bike before I drag now Nov 12, 2015

Bagus K: Better rear set position Aug 16, 2015
Tim S: I wanted to change the riding position of the Ninja 300. It feels a lot better and more aggressive now. Apr 13, 2015
Benjamin P: As always with Yoshi parts, great quality. The new position is perfect, especially with woodcraft clip ons. Other rear-sets offer more adjustability but I think these are ideal for the average rider Sep 13, 2014
Kyle B: These will go nicely with my Woodcraft Clipons. Mar 1, 2014
Thomas J: For a little better seating position. Dec 30, 2013
A shopper asked: Will this work with the abs model ninja 300? I was looking at mine and it looks like the rear master cylinder won't be able to pull back far enough because of the hard brake line from the abs module. Jan 26, 2015

Anthony C: You will have to cut the brake line. Some guys have gotten it to work, but make sure you're comfortable with cutting into your brake line. Feb 9, 2015

A S asked: I see that this product is available in
2 colors, "black" and "works edition." On Yoshimura's website, the 2 products don't look very different. What does the works edition look like in person? Gray?

A shopper asked: Does the yoshimura rear set bracket make a huge difference in terms of the seating position? Eg more aggressive like a r6 or a 600 super sport? Or is it still about the same as the standard seat positions for the ninja 250r? Feb 19, 2014

Thomas B: This is probably one of the best mods that I have done to my baby ninja, it drastically helped my riding position and helped me stay back on the seat more naturally rather than my delicates hugging the tank. I would recommend doing this mod and clip-on bars at the same time, if you keep the stock bars and you install these it throws the body position all off and feels very cramped. However if you install these and some woodcraft or driven clip-ons at the same time it totally transforms our little ninja. Its not quite as aggressive as a zx6 but its much more aggressive than stock. Feb 19, 2014

Sam K: The seating position will be more aggresive, however it won't be like a Super-Sport unless you also got a good set of clip ons to go with these brackets.

From my experience on a Ninja 250R, immediately after putting on these brackets on in the highest position I found the bike way easier to lean over, and for me (5'10") it was actually more comfortable than the stock position.

cvbn s: The rearset bracket does make a small difference, but in conjunction with woodcraft clipons it transforms the bike into a mini super sport :) I could not be more happier with both these products. Although it adds a more agressive riding position it is not to aggressive for daily riding.

I hope I helped with your enquiry.

Andrew C: No difference in seating position, your knees will be a little higher on the tank, biggest benefit is added ground clearance. I use them on my 250 race bike and this solved my dragging of rear set hard parts when leaned over in corners. Feb 19, 2014
