Yoshimura R77 Street Slip-On Exhaust Suzuki GSXR1000
The R-77 consists of a trapezoidal-shaped sleeve, maximizing muffler volume, while offering a sharp silhouette to flow with the new body. The innovative Stainless Steel end-cap is reminiscent of the R-55, featuring sharp edges for an attractive, eye catching appeal.
Slip-on systems include the R-77 muffler, stainless steel mid-pipe, and all necessary hardware for installation.
Note: This exhaust is CARB compliant. Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.
Definitely recommend this slip on

Super fit and finish
Easy quick install. Great sound, not too loud very close to stock at idle and while driving around town.

Easy to install.
The best thing about this slip on is it was really easy to install myself. I saved $100 on installation. It does sound better but for almost $500 I expected a big noticeable difference and its just not there. However with this said....it does sound more aggressive and has a nice low end rumble when idle but yoshi is a bit overpriced. I would have REALLY loved if I paid around $250. But hey its a yoshi and just the bginning of my mods. my bike is in the game now so I'm not complaining.

GEORGE W:If you are just replacing the stock mufflers, it's not necessary to re-tune or make any adjustments to your bike. Unlike carbureted engines, modern fuel injection systems can tolerate and compensate for the slight difference between the stock cans and slip-ons. However, if you replace the entire exhaust system, it would be necessary to remap in order to get optimum performance from the new system.May 18, 2014
Devon T:I put this exhaust on my cbr1000rr and I did not need to re map it the ecm can make the adjustments but it might back fire a little. And I did not have any issues bolting it up to the bike. May 18, 2014
STEVE C:Don't know that you can re map your bike without adding a power commander.
I know on the CBR100R you cannot.
After I installed the exhaust the bike had an irregular idle as well as ignition backfire. This only lasted for about the first 20 miles or so.
The bikes electronics automatically adjusted for the exhaust however this is not always the case.
I would ask a certified Suzuki mechanic re the remapping.
You may not have to, but if you do a power commander will fix it.
Forums are also a good idea since I'm sure somebody else has already encountered this. May 19, 2014
Raul J:ride a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 1000.
R-77 fit and slipped right in. No adjustment needed. Runs and sounds great, I get lots of great compliments about the sound and look.
I would definitely recommended this item.
