Yoshimura R-77 Slip-On Exhaust Kawasaki Ninja 300

The R-77 is a perfect match for the Ninja 300. Its styling and internal dynamics complement this new bike exceptionally well. Not only does the R-77 enhance the aggressive styling, it provides an ample boost in horsepower and torque from mid-to-peak RPMs, just where you need it.

Improving styling and performance was not our only goal. The R-77 also reduced weight over the stock muffler, resulting in better handling, weight distribution, and fuel economy. Tearing up track has never been so much fun.

Slip-On includes R-77 muffler, stainless steel tail-pipe, low-volume insert, installation hardware, and detailed step-by-by instructions.

NOTE: This exhaust is CARB compliant. Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.

Great sound and look Easy installation that gives the bike a much better look and sound April 14, 2014
Great upgrade over stock exhaust I purchased this for my Ninja 300. The instructions were brief but straightforward and gave me no troubles. The Yoshi exhaust is far lighter than the stock unit it replaced and looks great on the bike. I chose not to use the baffle that came with the exhaust, but I did try to insert it and test it out. On my exhaust, the baffle was an extremely tight fit, much tighter than I would have expected (beyond what I could do by hand). In my research this "issue" is a rare occurrence. So in summary, looks good, sounds good, priced competitive to other slip-on, and was very easy to install, just wished the baffle fit a bit better. April 8, 2014
Ninja 300: Easy to install, great sound, great look! I purchased this slip-on exhaust for my 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. The installation is very simple, even though there are no pictures on the guide. Removing the stock exhaust was a matter of removing a couple of bolts and clamps. The new exhaust slipped right on, and the entire process took easily under an hour. I got the stainless steel version because of the price difference, and it looks great! The weight difference between the stock exhaust and this slip on is easily about 10 lbs, equivalent to probably 1-2 additional horsepower. It makes the bike look much better, and the sound difference is out of this world. I did not put the baffle in, and just riding it out of the garage of my apartment building made 3 car alarms go off because of the deep, throaty rumble it makes. I love how loud it is from a safety perspective because cars definitely seem to notice me on the road more as a result of the sound. Overall, I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed. March 24, 2014
Excellent sound and finish! Yosh slip-on has had many compliments. Makes the Ninja 300 sound awesome. Just a little popping, but still performs the same. Revzilla rocks as always!!! February 24, 2014
Good quality product! I bought this exhaust pipe for my husband for his birthday. I was very pleased when we received it. You can just look at the pipe and see that it is a quality product and well made. It sounds great too. I highly recommend. February 6, 2014
Different Bike This Slip-on make my bike sounds like a whole different bike, I love it. It is not obnoxious sounding but loud enough that I can be heard in passing. I love the way it looks. Listening to what it sounds like in a video just doesn't do it justice. If you get this, you will not be disappointed. December 6, 2013
Sounds Great This was an easy upgrade. The price is a little steep, but to me it was worth. Looks and sounds so much better than the stock exhaust. I added Area P Fuel Controller and K&N Air Filter while doing this upgrade. I highly recommend them all. October 29, 2013
Pretty nice. I've had the stainless steel version of this slip on exhaust for a couple of months now and it has pretty much retained its quality. Like any other slip on, the Yoshimura will not provide any gains in power. But it will make your bike significantly louder, making you more noticeable to other drivers on the road. Also, the quaint styling of this slip on exhaust really makes your bike stand out. Installation took hardly any time at all. The instructions included in the box were clear enough and the installation process was self-explanatory. The exhaust fit on my bike like a glove. Keep in mind however, unlike the stock exhaust, the Yoshimura and most other aftermarket exhausts will not have an integrated heat shield. Be sure to warn potential passengers about the hot exhaust. Kevin N: It came with everything needed to mount in ninja 300. I'm not sure which aluminum bracket you are referring to. The only OEM part you need to use is the nut that holds the stick exhaust onto the bike. Aug 14, 2013

A shopper asked: What's the difference between SS and Carbon fiber? Aug 11, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Larry H: The SS(stainless steel is shiny, almost chrome looking). The carbon fiber is the traditional carbon fiber look (nice) and is lighter in weight than the SS. The carbon fiber is a little bit higher in price, perhaps 15 to 20% more. Both styles look nice and sound terrific. You might need to use the provided insert to drop a few decibels if you feel it is to loud. Aug 14, 2013

Richard V: The SS stands for Stainless Steel. The Carbon Fiber is dark gray with the standard carbon fiber design. I chose the carbon fiber and couldn't be happier. The noise damper makes the exhaust quieter than the stock pipe. But if you take out the damper, it has a deep hearty sound which sounds amazing. Aug 12, 2013

Jimmie W: It's just the look i like the carbon fiber because I plan on adding more things that has the carbon fiber look. The one thing I don't like is that one person tip looked bad after some years Aug 13, 2013

Brian D: I believe the only difference is price and appearance. I got the pipe that is stainless steel with carbon fiber tip. Was 100 cheaper and I think it looks great! Hope this helps. Aug 12, 2013

A shopper asked: I get a different answer from everyone, but does a Slip-on require tuning? Also, I've heard riiding without the baffle will cause damage in the long run. True? Apr 11, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
James M: NO, you will not require a tune for a slip-on. The gains are minimal and are mostly due to the weight loss. Apr 11, 2014
