Yoshimura Chassis Protectors help minimize damage from sliding type falls, can save you hundreds of dollars in repairs, and maybe keep you from getting a DNF on race day. The plastic construction is soft enough to slow slides and wear down slowly... yet tough enough to keep the track away from your bike in most cases.

  • CNC-machined mounts
  • Laser-etched Yoshimura logo Inner Sleeve
  • Includes durable mounting hardware and instructions
  • Works Edition features a hard-anodized insert with superior colorfast qualities and is highly resistant to Ultraviolet rays and heat

Saved about 99% of my bike
So I just had my first "crash" two days ago with only these and a set of swing arm spools added to my 2015 ZX-6R. It was only about 30 mph and on the left side (so no exhaust scraping) and these did an INCREDIBLE job. My bike has two very small abrasions on the plastic that are barely noticeable, the tank and transmission are in perfect shape, and the bar end took a little bit of a beating (not bad but I would also recommend getting bar end sliders now) and I couldn't believe it. The slider looks like it took quite a beating (I wouldn't trust it with a second fall without replacing it) and did its job very well. I am writing this review right before ordering a replacement pair because I am so happy with the performance. These might seem a little expensive but if you go down once, these will pay for themselves. On a side note, I was in shorts and a hoodie (with a helmet) and I learned the hard way to always wear proper gear. Don't be stupid like me!

Tested at a stop sign
I had the unfortunate pleasure to test these for my first drop ever. I came to a stop at a stop sign and put my foot down and slipped on a rock or something. Down I went! The slider completely saved my fairing. Only damage I had were some very very minor scratches on my exhaust and mirror.

Their frame sliders ....
Very well constructed frame sliders. Extremely easy install. It took me less than 10 minutes, seriously. I gave it 4 stars based on finish and durability for the following reasons. 1) I really don't like the look of ANY frame sliders. They stick out of the bike and take away from the bike. However, Yoshimura made the frame sliders for the ZX-6R as nice as they can. The gold spacers are nice because it matches my front forks and the sliders are black. They are as nice looking as they can get for what they are. 2) I gave it 4 stars for durability because I didn't go down and have them tested lol. The thing that concerns me is if I do go down and the bolt snaps off, its bolted right into the engine mount and could be a nightmare to replace. Hopefully I never have to encounter that. Overall, I think it's a great purchase. You can never go wrong when trying to protect yourself or your investment. Ride safe everyone!!

A must have!
Installed these awhile back and they look great. I especially like the wording on the outside. Gives it a nice touch.

I recently had put these to use. Didn't quite "drop" my bike, more like "laid" it down. These definitely helped protect the fairings with minimal damage to the sliders. Exhaust took some scratches though.

Good looking sliders
I bought these sliders for my 2013 ZX6R, though I can't comment on if they work yet. They were very easy to install and look good on the bike.

great style, easy to install
I had these on my 2012 ninja 650 and the install was a pain. The install on my new 2013 Ninja 636 took literally 10 minutes. Take engine bolts out, insert skider! So easy and they look great. Yoshimura for the win! Although I havent tested these, I am sure they would protect my plastics if I tip it over

NEVER BUY ANY FRAME SLIDERS
I ADVISE DO NOT BOLT THESE TO YOUR FRAME or any other frame slider.
They saved most of the left side fairing, scratches on the lower fairing, bent gear shift lever and broken rear left passenger fairing.
BUT the frame slider bent ridiculously on a small 40 kmph rear tire spin out and caused a chip at the bolt mounting on the frame, no mechanical damage but cannot guarantee if the damage could get worse in ears to come.
I would never ever buy any frame sliders, its alot more cost effective to replace fairings then damage to the engine frame. Hope insurance pays it or i will live with a not 100% frame.
by the way cost for frame replacement if over $3000 CAD.

Thank you for the headache Yoshimura

Installation was Supra easy
Product finish is Impecable
Durability? what durability? Ive ended last season by droping my bike at 10ish km hour...the frame slider did save the left side of my bike....i picked it back up and rode away...sure the rubber part was destroyed but other then that everything looked fine except a couple of scratch here and there....Spring just got here...took out the bike from my heated storage this morning, rode to my friend's place...look at the bike everything was fine....then rode 15 min farther...the freaking bolt from the yosh frame slider kit snaped...sooo i lost the kit AND was 20ish min away from my place with no engine support bolt on my left side . The bolt broke clean off in the engine...made in china yoshimura bolt or something? wth

Trusted brand, known for their quality, and you need quality for frame sliders otherwise they'll do more harm than good
