Sleep and Sturdy
This product is more expensive than most. The reason probably has to do with how solidly this is built. The steel structure is strong while creating nice lines with the bike. This is the only purely cosmetic add-on I have done and aesthetically it was worth it, though I do with it was a little cheaper.

Instructions are awful. Took about 3 hours today, but I did choose to solder the wires rather than use the included butt connectors. Product is decent overall. My one complaint other than the terribly unclear and poorly written instructions are the license plate screws are silver rather than black. Black would have given it a much nicer look overall. For what you get, I'd say it's worth about $60.

Great product. You pay for quality.
Although this Yoshimura fender eliminator isn't the cheapest option, it's definitely one of the best ones. The product is very good quality and, once installed, looks great on the bike. Installation was a bit tough, but it was removing the stock fender that was the difficult part, not installing this one. All in all, I definitely recommend you buy this product and make your bike look much sleeker and less bulky in the rear.

Very tidy kit
Pros: This set of brackets replaces the hideous stock fender that extends past the rear tire and tucks the license plate in neatly. The ugliest part of the 650 becomes the best looking. The brackets are sturdy and well-finished. Looks totally professional and not at all hackish, unlike some fender eliminators you see.
Cons: $100 feels like a bit much for a set of metal plates and an LED light, but I understand there are development costs they need to recoup and whatnot. It definitely improves the looks $100-worth though.
Also, the instructions are not super helpful. Consult youtube. The indicators were an especially big headache for me, with their rubber mountings very frustrating to try to get back into the bracket. The whole process probably took 3 hours, but I had never taken apart my bike to this extent before and I made a few mistakes that cost me time. If I were to start over from scratch I could do it in an hour and a half now.
PS: "This product is for closed course only and not street legal".. hah. You're not going to get in any trouble over this unless you live in the strictest place in the world.

Cleans up the rear nicely!
The kit itself is pretty straight forward and had no problems with installing it (did have some issues removing the stock fender, but nothing too difficult). I really like that it reuses the stock rear blinkers and the LED license light is nice and bright! Definitely a quality product and looks great on the bike!

Does What it Says
Makes your bike look good. Functional. Durable. Install was mostly simple. Instructions leave a bit to be desired but you can figure it out. Price is high for what you get but I have more money than sense. So it works out that way.
They could have included heat shrink connectors for the amount they charge. At the very least, throw in 1 or 2 extra crimp connectors in case you snap one while crimping...
Installing the stock turn signals takes some patience. Not an issue if you were to install an integrated tail light at the same time. The rubber stock signal stalks have to be squeezed into the metal fender bracket. If I had to do it again, I might use water or hair spray to get them installed easier.
Install took about an hour and a half. Most of it was wrestling with those bast@%# turn signal stalks and wasting time by staring at instructions. Some time was due to re-routing wiring from an unrelated wi-fi brake light module that works with my helmet.
Installed on a 2013 Ninja 650R.
