Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit Kawasaki Ninja 300 2013-2016
Relatively easy install
The install was relatively quick and easy. No instructions provided by Yoshimura though. Be aware it's a precision fit. My Ohio license plate was drilled slightly off center, so it posed a bit of an issue. I tried it with old plates from other bikes I've had (and had zero problems) so it's not a Yoshimura issue. Great product, and very, very light compared to the stock.

I am a big fan of the Yoshimura brand. Every since Revzilla presented it to me I haven't looked back. Bought this earlier this week after recommendations from some friends/on lookers and first let me say the Revzilla shipping process is IMMACULATE I received mines in not even a week. Second, while I'm not the most mechanically savvy of them all I managed to put this tail tidy on my Ninja 300 in less than 2 hours. It's definitely more difficult than it appears to be but once you get the hang of it your efforts will pay off as it adds a sexy edge to your bike. There are some "How-To" videos on YouTube which explain the installation process a little more in detail.

Sharp look created with high quality parts.
This fender eliminator kit delivers the quality expected from Yoshimura's line of products; top of the food chain. The package includes all necessary hardware and directions for installation. I ranked the installation process 3/5 because it is quite difficult to install the turn signals onto the Yoshi brackets. I find no fault with Yoshi's design as the inner diameter of their turn signal bracket is the correct dimension but rather worth noting for future purchasers. Remember to mark left and right turn signals prior to removing them from original fender so installation on the Yoshi brackets has to be done only once! The final setup is sleek, displaying the license plate with great illumination from bright white LEDs.

This product has a cleaner look
**Does not fit a Canadian licence plate!!**
I wish they mentioned that. ^
I wanted this product for the more clean and simple look. It ended up looking nice other than the fact that it doesn't work perfectly with my Canadian license plate. My plate is too big. I still managed to install the product, but without the Yoshimura cover plate which is a bummer. Also, since the plate is too big, I only have 1 screw supporting each turn signal. It's not a huge issue if you tighten the screws well. The installation instructions included are not very easy to follow. I had to go online to see how to do it. It took me about a couple of hours. It also costs too much for what it is. I'd say it should cost half as much or even less. Other than that, it's a quality product.

Looks great !
This really cleans up the bike. I love the look and the install was very easy. I'm by no means a mechanic but I watched some YouTube videos and got it done. My only quarrels are with the price and the Yoshimura label. I was washing my bike and the label on it started to come off so now it says Yosh m r . Not a huge deal but be careful when washing. Also, I had this for when I owned a Ninja 300.

This is a fantastic buy if your aiming for something more discrete. Installing was pretty easy despite the instructions that comes in the box.
Pro Tips: Before you cut the wire for the indicator label the Left or Right. Sounds dumb put better safe than confused later on.
Make sure you leave a little than enough wire when you cut them. If you don't the installation will be that much more difficult and could be costly if you cut too short. Also invest in getting Heat Shrink for the exposed wires. The kit provides you with some the tube clamp but you will do yourself some great justice if you use heat shrink its cheap and easier in my opinion to cover the wires.
Installation of the Indicators on the yoshimura brackets are going to be the bane of your existence. Take out that metal clip and it should make it slightly easier. Personally I started from the larger end and worked my way around.
Other than that there are plenty of YouTube videos on how to install the entire bracket.

Great product, tricky to install but worth it...
I couldn't wait to get ride of the OEM fender cluster. This kit is pretty neat and allows you to re-use the OEM turn signals. Assembly is straight forward, as others have mentioned in reviews, the turn signals are a real pain to get into the brackets. It is worth the effort in the end, cleans up the look of the bike and the plate is more firmly attached to the bike The LED lights are cool too. The wire connectors included are cheap, get yourself some better ones from the auto parts store. I used crimp connectors with a waterproofing gel inside. Slip the wires in pinch with pliers and a solid waterproof connection with no electrical tape or shrink wrap.

Looks great, slight pain to install
So first off, the light/bracket/frame all look excellent, it seems like this is what the tail should look like from the factory. It was sort of a pain to install, however. Here are some tips so you don't gouge your eyes out: Use silicone lube to get the turn signals into the yoshi brackets, otherwise it will take hours of pain lol. Most importantly, after you cut off the stock license plate light connector, DO NOT splice it onto the new yoshi LED light until you thread the wires through the hole in the bracket. The instructions from yoshi tell you to crimp on the butt connectors BEFORE assembling the bracket, which would then require you to cut the wires again and do it over since the Kawi female connector will not fit through the hole in the bracket. This is a well-known issue with the instructions, but I didn't look up a 3rd party installation guide so I had to cut the wire a second time. I would also recommend to solder and heat-shrink the wires rather than use the cheap provided butt connectors. At the very least, be sure to use a heat gun to seal the heat shrink on the butt connectors and don't strip off so much insulation from the wires that copper is exposed on either side after crimping them together.
Overall, it's very pretty and the materials are high quality, but it's a bit overpriced for what it is. If you're too lazy to make your own bracket, this product is worth the cost.
