Great product, tricky to install but worth it... I couldn't wait to get ride of the OEM fender cluster. This kit is pretty neat and allows you to re-use the OEM turn signals. Assembly is straight forward, as others have mentioned in reviews, the turn signals are a real pain to get into the brackets. It is worth the effort in the end, cleans up the look of the bike and the plate is more firmly attached to the bike The LED lights are cool too. The wire connectors included are cheap, get yourself some better ones from the auto parts store. I used crimp connectors with a waterproofing gel inside. Slip the wires in pinch with pliers and a solid waterproof connection with no electrical tape or shrink wrap. July 28, 2015
Looks great, slight pain to install So first off, the light/bracket/frame all look excellent, it seems like this is what the tail should look like from the factory. It was sort of a pain to install, however. Here are some tips so you don't gouge your eyes out: Use silicone lube to get the turn signals into the yoshi brackets, otherwise it will take hours of pain lol. Most importantly, after you cut off the stock license plate light connector, DO NOT splice it onto the new yoshi LED light until you thread the wires through the hole in the bracket. The instructions from yoshi tell you to crimp on the butt connectors BEFORE assembling the bracket, which would then require you to cut the wires again and do it over since the Kawi female connector will not fit through the hole in the bracket. This is a well-known issue with the instructions, but I didn't look up a 3rd party installation guide so I had to cut the wire a second time. I would also recommend to solder and heat-shrink the wires rather than use the cheap provided butt connectors. At the very least, be sure to use a heat gun to seal the heat shrink on the butt connectors and don't strip off so much insulation from the wires that copper is exposed on either side after crimping them together. Overall, it's very pretty and the materials are high quality, but it's a bit overpriced for what it is. If you're too lazy to make your own bracket, this product is worth the cost. June 24, 2015
Clean Finish, Durable Was very excited to get rid of my stock fender on my Ninja 300. One of the most difficult parts was installing the stock turning signals into their new slots. Make sure you also keep track of which turn signal goes where when you pull them out. June 22, 2015
Excellent product, 1-2 hour setup with no experience This was a little daunting to try and install, especially for my first and brand new 2015 Ninja 300 SE, but it was worth it. Shipped within 2 days. Bike looks sweet! April 13, 2015
LOOKS GREAT. INSTALL NOT EASY AS REVZILLA SAYS TO ME Product is amazing. Two problems I had were the wire connectors for the led license plate it comes with are not good for puting wires together. It's best to splice them together. Also the instructions say to wire everything together but if you do that before placing the led light onto the bracket the stock wires will not fit into the hole. So i had to re-splice. Customer service from Yoshimura was very helpful with a couple questions I had and 1 problem. March 27, 2015
Not as easy as it seems. The process of assembly before it even gets near the bike is a little bit excessive but over all good strong dependable material. March 23, 2015
makes the bike look sleaker only problem is number plate surround does not fit australian number plates surround is too small yet looks great time comsuming but fairly easy to put on December 31, 2014
LOVE IT! Soooo much better than the horrible stock one. It looks sleek and awesome! September 8, 2014

C/O Dee Johnson Apt 1: This definitely reduced the ugly look of the original fender/license plate holder. My bike looks sportier, cleaner, and yoshi'd out. A shopper asked: Would this product be legal in California if the plate was completely visible and mounted near the end of the tail of the bike and used stock taillights? Aug 26, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Robert F: It is legal. The times a fender eliminator are illegal in California are when the plate is obscured from law enforcements vision, if it is a flip down on hinged springs (so you can kick it to flip it down/up to hide the plate) or places the plate in a vertical position (first number at the bottom and last on top). You can actually use it without stock tail lights as long as you still have after market brake lights and turn indicators that are functional. Sep 18, 2014

Michael H: I'm in Australia and that didn't fit I had to cut some of the number plate but I think it will fit European I think the plates are definitely smaller but there are ways to make it fit with cutting I finally realized after cutting it just don't put the black bracket around the number plate May 20, 2015
