Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Their patent pending design features a slider puck that can be replaced with one bolt. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. By not having a hollow out the puck it leaves the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a bolt through a distorted puck hole.
Making solid sliders with no offsets is absolutely the best way to protect your bike in a crash - giving the slider maximum strength to resist bending and breaking. Offset sliders can break and sometimes do more damage than they prevent (like breaking frames). Woodcraft will only sell what they race and believe these to be the best frame sliders available.
I had a little bubu on at low speeds on my FZ09... held up great. minor scrapes on the handle bar, bent front brake lever, and scraped my exhaust. No damage to the body tho. Woodcraft makes good stuff!

Installation was a breeze. The design is very unobtrusive and looks good on the bike. Seems extremely durable and well built but hopefully I'll never test them out!

I really like these frame sliders. They are light weight but feel very durable. I gave it a 4 for Finish because it has the silver screws that look awkward. I am going to replace them with black ones when I can find them.

Better safe than sorry
Not much protection but will most likely save your radiator in case of a tipover. Not really save any fairings since its a naked bike. Cant wait for some case covers. Also these are only bases, dont forget the pucks. Great design that makes sense.

Solid slider at a good price
Slider options for the FZ-09 run the spectrum from expensive and attractive, to expensive and fugly, to cheap and questionable. This Woodcraft set is a bit more expensive than the cheapest product but appears to be more solid and better designed. Installation is a snap and just a matter of removing 2 bolts and replacing them with the slider bases. Don't forget to order 2 pucks (not 1 like me and have RevZilla call to save the day...unless you are bored and want to talk to somebody). These are not going to protect the engine so for full protection you will want to add case sliders, fork sliders, and swingarm sliders.

David S:^ Not for the FZ-09, The "slider base" comes as a set of 2 bases one for each side. The "slider pucks" are sold individually. So order 1 Frame slider base set and 2 of the pucks. When in doubt call Revzilla they straightened this out for me, I had the same question.Apr 25, 2014
Kasey F:Not sure why those other people can't offer a straight answer. This product(slider base) is sold in pairs. The slider pucks are sold individually. You will need 1 of this product and 2 pucks for a complete system.Apr 25, 2014
Jerran H:they will fit, however the fairing sticks out farther than any size woodcraft slider. so they are only going to partially protect the motor if the fairing were to break on impact. Mar 24, 2015
