Woodcraft Frame Slider Base Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R / ZX-636

Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Their patent pending design features a slider puck that can be replaced with one bolt. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. By not having a hollow out the puck it leaves the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a bolt through a distorted puck hole.

Making solid sliders with no offsets is absolutely the best way to protect your bike in a crash - giving the slider maximum strength to resist bending and breaking. Offset sliders can break and sometimes do more damage than they prevent (like breaking frames). Woodcraft will only sell what they race and believe these to be the best frame sliders available.

Note: Woodcraft Frame Slider Pucks are required and are sold separately. Image for reference only. Actual Woodcraft Frame Slider Base may vary depending on your make and model.

Yep....Frame Sliders
I was looking for some frame sliders(no cut), but ended up getting these because price and ease of replacement if involved in a crash. On the 2013 zx6r the install was a breeze, just take your time and mark the small amount of fair to be removed and go slow I used a very sharp utility knife and when slow. I hope I never have to use them. Don't forget to purchase two(2) frame slider pucks, they are sold individually.

Great Sliders
Bought these along with two Woodcraft Pucks, sold separately. I had them on my old '03 CBR600RR and they've always been easy to install, but this was nicer/easier to install as I didn't have to cut two huge holes in the fairings. Just be wary - There have been reports of people cracking the frame on the '09-'12 ZX6Rs when crashing with these installed; the '13 ZX6Rs have the same frame. Hoping I don't have to crash test these, but may end up taking these off in the future when I get Engine guards.
