Woodcraft Clip-Ons with Risers

Woodcraft 2-piece split clipons are specially designed to make installation and removal a snap. Our 2-piece design is race proven and makes it easy to service your clipons below the triple clamp without having to disassemble the entire front end.

Special attention has also been taken to save weight wherever possible on these clamps. The bars themselves are 12” long and are easily adjusted to whatever custom width you desire. Racers no longer have to worry about replacing an expensive complete clipon assembly after a crash - these risers use an inexpensive universal handlebar.

These clipons have either a one, two or three inch rise over a conventional race clipon. This clipon will give you the ability to have a race style clipon assembly with the option to get the bars up higher for rider comfort.

The rise on the Woodcraft clamps is measured from the bottom edge of the triple clamp to the top of the bar clamp. Some stock bars already have a rise with the stock clipons, so if you want a rise OVER the stock amount you need to get an estimate of your stock rise first and add up the stock rise and your desired additional rise.

For fitment information please consult Woodcraft's Clip-On Sizing Chart.

Note: Please consult the Woodcraft Clip-On Application Guide before ordering.

Best Mod I've Done Yet
Long story short, I wish I would have upgraded sooner. These clip ons (41mm with 1.5" rise) compared to the stock bars on my 13' Yamaha FZ6R is a night and day difference. My bike is far more responsive in corners and I love the aggressive riding position. It's not necessarily the riding position of a supersport but more along the lines of a happy medium between that and the stock bar on my FZ. The only complaints I have is the price and finish of this item. The price of these bars is outrageous in my opinion. Additionally, these could be powder coated black. I'll probably take care of that in the off season at a paint shop though.

Installation was time consuming but a breeze. On my FZ6R, the forks needed to be dropped 1.5" as these would not install below my triple tree (your mileage may vary with other bikes). Save yourself the headache and buy a front stand prior to doing this!!! My bike dropped so low that I had to disassemble the entire front end to get my triple tree stand underneath. With that warning aside, the only real challenge is ensuring that you drill in the correct places on both bars so your controls don't slide around. Go by the old rule of "cut once, measure twice" otherwise you'll end up with some awkward results. I used a 3/16", general use bit with a regular run of the mill drill with excellent results. After that, everything is rather straightforward.

One last thing I haven't seen mentioned much is that these bars have ends on them which are removable so it is to your discretion whether you use them, install your own aftermarket pair, or remove them entirely. If you go with the latter, be sure to have a pair of vise grips nearby as they are not threaded to twist in and will have to be pulled out with excessive force. I chose to leave the bar end on the clutch side and remove it on the throttle for fitment purposes with my Progrip grips.

Revzilla processed my order as fast as usual and shipped with free ground shipping to my door in roughly 4 days. I also used my zilla cash on these making the price a bit more bearable. Overall, if you want a more sporty riding position and better cornering ability, clip ons are the way to go.

well constructed but odd looking
at first you might think theyre ugly, but the more you handle them the more you appreciate the quality of the machine work. the clip ons feel substantial (i have a 2 inch riser on mine). They feel durable, but I can't say whether they will withstand a fall.

The two piece design allows you to install them without removing the top triple tree, but one set of screws is hard to reach from behind the forks so really all you can do is set up the correct ring spacing on the back side and torque it on the front side.

The fastners are not the best quality (zinc plated variety), definitely use a high quality allen head socket set or you will strip them with those cheapy L shaped allen wrenches.

I used these clipons to transform my upright riding position versys into a street fighter styled bike similar to duc monster. just do some research to make sure you buy the correct size corresponding to your bikes fork diameter at the top triple.

Excellent fit and polish
(bike: ducati s2r 1000) Bolt-ons are never just that simple. The fit and finish of these clip-ons were great however the plastic bar-ends were almost impossible to remove (CRG lane splitter mirrors). Getting the two piece fork clamps on without modifying the headlight bracket took a bit of magic but it is do-able. That all being said, once everything was wired up the clamp ons were a dream. Perfect position and turns lock to lock without a hitch. Good purchase.

I had dirt bike bars on my honda cbr f4i, i instaled the woodcrafts, with 3 inch rise. Taking turns and cornering way better. The these handlebars took my handling up to a 10 rateing on a 1 to 10 chart in my opinion. i would prefer these over other clipons as well. thank you revzilla, i am enjoying my handle bars.

Woodcraft clip-ons work great.
These clip ons are worth the money. They're adjustable and part replaceable, if needed. No complaints. I'd say, on the "beard scale", it's equivalent to a 4 o'clock shadow. get 'em. done. enjoy.

Awesome change from stock bars.
I used these clip-ons with the 1" rise and 1" replacement bars to replace the factory bars on my bike. They completely changed the look and rider position of the bike. The ability to change the rise was one reason I went with these clip-ons, and I am very happy with the look and feel of the 1" rise.

Easy to install, immediate frontend facelift, gives you a more aggressive riding position than stock handlebars which is a more upright position. No clearance issues what so ever. Great quality!!!

more aggressive seating position and better look on my fz6r.
Warren H on Jan 19, 2015
I lowsided my Ninja 250r earlier this year (sandpatch), and bent the left handlebar a TINY bit. I decided it was time to change the bars, considering I'm going to change the brake pads, and get it fully maintenanced anyways. I am more used to the aggressive "down-and-forward" position, due to my bicycle, so these would help me feel a little more at home as far as body angle.
Anthony N on Jan 8, 2015
put these on my fz6r what a difference! bike handles way better more responsive and a way more aggressive riding position

Quality component with more adjustability than competing brands. And it helps that it's made in the USA.
DAVID C on Apr 4, 2014
Unlike other manufacturers Woodcraft actually specifically designed clip on risers for for 2007 + Honda CBR600RR and other bikes that had clearance issues. Originally purchased a vortex set but it had major clearance issues with the fairings and fairing stay. Go with the 1.5 inch riser clip-on with Woodcraft if you have a 07+ CBR600RR.

A shopper on Nov 18, 2013
BEST ANSWER: They do make it in black but you have to but it separately
Are these clip-ons sold as a pair or individually?

What is the angle of the handlebars?

What is the angle of the handlebars?
A shopper on Jun 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: According to the video review, they are at 7 degrees.

To install these, am I going to have to drill a hole on each bar for the controls? I am currently using a clubman bar.
Wacey L on Oct 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Most motorcycle controls have anti-rotation pins that will need an accommodating hole in the bar. If your current bars have holes it will be an easy feat to measure the placement of the new hole by measuring from the end of your current bar or by placing the Woodcraft bar alongside your current bar (with the controls off) and marking on the Woodcraft bar where the new hole needs to be drilled. Done in five minutes. :-)
I have a 1993 GSXR 750 and would like to know what the max rise i can use without clearance issues with the fairing or cable issues?

Thanks.
A shopper on Apr 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Not sure what the max rise would be.. Seems your only issue there would be cable length. As for fairing clearance it would be the minimum rise that would be the issue there, right?
I have a 09 ninja 650r and I would really like to get some clip-ons instead of the sport bar that ninja650shop makes. Can I use this on my bike and place the clamps underneath the triple tree? what rise height would I need to make it clear the tank?
A shopper on May 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The highest riser I could find that Apex makes for their adjustable set has a 4 inch rise. If I want it lower, than I can simply lower it but will that be high enough? After looking at my bike, I think 4 inch is gonna be tall enough, lol. Though is it worth the extra $40 to get the 4 inch risers instead of the 3 inch?
I have a ninja300 what size clips on should I get. Is the 2.5inch. And 37mm way to go?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: A little looking around on forums and you will find that 37mm should work for the ninja 300.
Hey I ride kawasaki Ninja 650 2013 model in india. I want racing handle bars for my ninja. Let me know whether this woodcraft clip on can be installed on my ride or not ? or also suggest me alternative.
arjun s on Nov 17, 2013
BEST ANSWER: It'll work as long as you make sure you get the right width (find out your fork diameter) and the right height (riser) for your bike. If you don't select the right width they won't even install on your bike and if you select the wrong riser, that will affect your clearance when you move your handle bars side to side. You get both diameter/width and riser height right, these will work for your bike.
Is there any chance I can get these clip-ons in 46mm for my 98 zx6r??
A shopper on Jun 2, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The picture shows chrome bars, do you have them in black?
