Woodcraft Clip-Ons with Risers

Woodcraft 2-piece split clipons are specially designed to make installation and removal a snap. Our 2-piece design is race proven and makes it easy to service your clipons below the triple clamp without having to disassemble the entire front end.

Special attention has also been taken to save weight wherever possible on these clamps. The bars themselves are 12” long and are easily adjusted to whatever custom width you desire. Racers no longer have to worry about replacing an expensive complete clipon assembly after a crash - these risers use an inexpensive universal handlebar.

These clipons have either a one, two or three inch rise over a conventional race clipon. This clipon will give you the ability to have a race style clipon assembly with the option to get the bars up higher for rider comfort.

The rise on the Woodcraft clamps is measured from the bottom edge of the triple clamp to the top of the bar clamp. Some stock bars already have a rise with the stock clipons, so if you want a rise OVER the stock amount you need to get an estimate of your stock rise first and add up the stock rise and your desired additional rise.

For fitment information please consult Woodcraft's Clip-On Sizing Chart.

Note: Please consult the Woodcraft Clip-On Application Guide before ordering.

Woodcraft Clip-Ons with Risers 4.8 5 12 12
This fits on the Ninja 250 08-12. You have to select 37mm with 2.5" risers this will lower and put you a little forward. Great feel on the bike, you will feel on the turns. I bought this with the Woodcraft barends(with weights) it will reduce vibration thus lessen fatigue on your arms http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-bar-end-sliders September 18, 2014
Not for use with 07-08 ZX6R Product has a good finish, quality construction, and is easy to install. However, these bars will not work with the 07-08 ZX6R. The cowl and tank are set in a fashion that these bars come off the tree in all the wrong angles. I would recommend them to anyone with the appropriate space for them. September 15, 2014
Best Mod I've Done Yet Long story short, I wish I would have upgraded sooner. These clip ons (41mm with 1.5" rise) compared to the stock bars on my 13' Yamaha FZ6R is a night and day difference. My bike is far more responsive in corners and I love the aggressive riding position. It's not necessarily the riding position of a supersport but more along the lines of a happy medium between that and the stock bar on my FZ. The only complaints I have is the price and finish of this item. The price of these bars is outrageous in my opinion. Additionally, these could be powder coated black. I'll probably take care of that in the off season at a paint shop though. Installation was time consuming but a breeze. On my FZ6R, the forks needed to be dropped 1.5" as these would not install below my triple tree (your mileage may vary with other bikes). Save yourself the headache and buy a front stand prior to doing this!!! My bike dropped so low that I had to disassemble the entire front end to get my triple tree stand underneath. With that warning aside, the only real challenge is ensuring that you drill in the correct places on both bars so your controls don't slide around. Go by the old rule of "cut once, measure twice" otherwise you'll end up with some awkward results. I used a 3/16", general use bit with a regular run of the mill drill with excellent results. After that, everything is rather straightforward. One last thing I haven't seen mentioned much is that these bars have ends on them which are removable so it is to your discretion whether you use them, install your own aftermarket pair, or remove them entirely. If you go with the latter, be sure to have a pair of vise grips nearby as they are not threaded to twist in and will have to be pulled out with excessive force. I chose to leave the bar end on the clutch side and remove it on the throttle for fitment purposes with my Progrip grips. Revzilla processed my order as fast as usual and shipped with free ground shipping to my door in roughly 4 days. I also used my zilla cash on these making the price a bit more bearable. Overall, if you want a more sporty riding position and better cornering ability, clip ons are the way to go. August 21, 2014
Awesome change from stock bars. I used these clip-ons with the 1" rise and 1" replacement bars to replace the factory bars on my bike. They completely changed the look and rider position of the bike. The ability to change the rise was one reason I went with these clip-ons, and I am very happy with the look and feel of the 1" rise. May 28, 2014
Best value in features for the price. Love these clip-ons because of their ability to be taken off without lowering the forks. The riser clamps can be changed out with other sizes simply with three bolts per side and the bars can be changed with one pinch bolt. It's everything I've ever wanted in clip-ons. If I was forced to nit-pick, I suppose the finish could be more upscale, but these are about $20 less expensive than nearly every other similar product. Very utilitarian and I prefer that. Great clip ons for FZ6R, 1.5 inch rise, 41mm Install was fairly easy for these clip ons. They look awesome! Anyone looking for a more aggressive look on their fz6r these bars are must have. April 8, 2014
Makes riding possition feel more agressive. I installed this on my 2014 Ninja 300 ABS SE and it definitely feels more like a supersport. The install is time consuming and there are few things to note on the ABS version. The banjo bolt need to be re-angled because there's contact with the instrument cluster. I recommend you have shorty levers because even with shorty levers there's small contact with the windshield. Overall the is position feels aggressive without being uncomfortable. Also Yoshimura Rearset Brackets go great with these. March 1, 2014
For my ducati monster s2r1000 After someone knocked over my bike and bent the stock bars I decided to go for clip-ons. These make the position much more agressive and the 3in rise is perfect and places the bars slightly above the top triple. I will say that its a tight fit for the clamps around the headlight and at the lock-out points the clamps get very close to the frame, but it should be fine in the event of a tip over. Quality wise, these are awesome clip-ons. not a complicated product but a well made one for sure. April 29, 2013

Originally purchased a vortex set but it had major clearance issues with the fairings and fairing stay. Go with the 1.5 inch riser clip-on with Woodcraft if you have a 07+ CBR600RR. Jan 26, 2014

A shopper asked: I have a 09 ninja 650r and I would really like to get some clip-ons instead of the sport bar that ninja650shop makes. Can I use this on my bike and place the clamps underneath the triple tree? what rise height would I need to make it clear the tank? May 24, 2014

Adam G: The highest riser I could find that Apex makes for their adjustable set has a 4 inch rise. If I want it lower, than I can simply lower it but will that be high enough? After looking at my bike, I think 4 inch is gonna be tall enough, lol. Though is it worth the extra $40 to get the 4 inch risers instead of the 3 inch? May 26, 2014

james m: I have a 2005 Z1000 and I bought 3 inch risers for it to get rid of the dirty bars and put them undr the top triple clamp but they hit it so they were really straight and not comfortable at all!! Wish I spent a little extra on the apex risers because they have a lot more adjustability. May 24, 2014

arjun s asked: Hey I ride kawasaki Ninja 650 2013 model in india. I want racing handle bars for my ninja. Let me know whether this woodcraft clip on can be installed on my ride or not ? or also suggest me alternative. Nov 17, 2013

Abhishek R: It'll work as long as you make sure you get the right width (find out your fork diameter) and the right height (riser) for your bike. If you don't select the right width they won't even install on your bike and if you select the wrong riser, that will affect your clearance when you move your handle bars side to side. You get both diameter/width and riser height right, these will work for your bike. Nov 17, 2013

cody r: You have to find the outer diameter of your fork tubes and get the ones that match, also have to measure how much rise u need to clear front fairings and frame when u turn the bars lock to lock. Good luck to u. Also be aware that u will get a lot more engine vibrations threw these bars compared to the original ones as there are no bar weights. Nov 17, 2013

A shopper asked: I know the width is adjustable, obviously, but is the angle adjustable? Mar 17, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: This depends in part on your specific motorcycle. Usually, the angle is also adjustable, but some bikes have guides on the triple tree that lock clip-ons into a set angle. Mar 21, 2012
