Wolfman Wolf Tail Pack 4.8 5 13 13
Wolman makes quality products Bought this to use on a Tiger 800 XC. Fits the stock rear rack without issue. Wolfman makes quality products and for the price I believe they are superior to other bags in the same or higher price range. Plus, they are an American owned company that still make the bags here. Fit and finish of the bag is great. Zippers are very nice and work well. The reflective tape they use on the bag is very highly reflective. Installation with the bungee cords is a snap and the bag holds well once installed. April 15, 2014
Great Product I was impressed with the ease of installing the bag. I was worried about the tail pack not staying secure while riding off road. No problem after 80 miles of rough gravel roads and single track riding. March 17, 2014
Superior product for daily use. Impressive quality and features on this tail bag. I commute by motorcycle in dry weather, and the bag stays on the bike. It looks smaller than it is, with the space available being well executed. It expands upward slightly when needed, and has well shaped pockets on the sides and rear. Judging by the quality of construction and materials, I'm confident that this bag will wear very well. Styling is subjective, but I think it looks pretty sharp as well. This bag is a replacement for a Firstgear Onyx that I used for two years, but had become UV damaged to the point of being unusable. Overall, the Onyx had more available space, but the shape of the compartment and pockets seemed less manageable. The quality of materials was notably inferior to the Wolfman bag. The Onyx did include a carry strap feature that the Wolfman lacks, but I never used it. October 18, 2013
Great tail bag I purchased this bag to better fit a C14. I wanted something taller and more narrow to sit on the passenger seat. I like the expansion feature, side pockets and lid zipper pocket. I've not had to use the waterproof cover yet. I have a Wolfman tank bag for some time and the build quality and features are similar to this bag. Good stuff! September 16, 2013
Roomy and well built. I bought the Wolfman Wolf Tail Pack so I wouldn't have to lug a backpack around on day to day rides. The bag is a good size to fit every day things - extra clothing, a few tools, lunch. I also slide my cellphone and wallet into one of the zippered pockets so I'm more comfortable during the ride. My bike has a rack on the back, so attaching the bag is a breeze. The Wolfman system uses 4 bungee loops with removable hooks on them, allowing any number of ways to make sure your bag is attached securely. The bag feels solid, and stays put. It's too soon to tell how reliable the bag will be, however it does have a high quality feel to it. All the stitching is tight and neat. There are well-thought out pockets both inside and out, along with an adjustable bungee web on top. September 9, 2013
Just what I was looking for. I purchased this tail bag for my 2013 Suzuki Vstrom. I wanted something that I could use for commuting to work and the occasional trip to the store. The bag was very easy to attach to the mounting rack on my bike. There is ample room inside for a pair of gloves, over pants, and jacket liner. With the bag expanded I can fit my XL full face helmet inside. I'd call that plenty of room! I can't rate the durability yet, but I'm going to assume it will hold up very well. August 18, 2013
All Round Great and very practical All Round Great and very practical. Good quality and easy to install. August 13, 2013
Good overall, some doubts The Wolf Tail pack is a lot bigger than it looks. It takes a ton of stuff even when not expanded. Here's what I manage to pack in there without expanding the top: - Jetboil - 2x Jetboil gas refill canisters - Pinnacle Dualist cook system - Small binoculars - Toilet bag - Black Diamond Orbit lantern - 2x tire levers - BMW motorcycle tool set rollbag - Nalgene wide mouth loop-top water bottle - Drying and washing cloths In the mesh pocket of the top - 2x high absorbency camping towels In the external pockets: Pocket 1: chain lube, tire puncture repair kit Pocket 2: first aid kit Pocket 3: energy bars and other snacks The product is well thought out and designed. Three external pockets are large enough to carry a lot of stuff, making all contents easily accessible without having to unpack anything in the main compartment. The 'lid' of the main compartment has a zippered mesh pocket to stow flatter items. I keep my high absorbent camping towels in there. The bottom has a rubberized base which limits slip, not that this is a big deal when the bag is stowed onto the bike. I have a concern about the bungees of the Wolf Tail pack. They seem like they may not last very long, especially if used in off road conditions. Because the pack is so huge, it can take a lot of stuff, which can make it quite heavy, based on the contents. On some recent mild off road rides on rough gravel roads, the bag moved around quite a bit on the back of my BMW 650 Dakar, even though I have the bungees as tight as possible. I had to keep checking if it was still there. If the ride gets real rough, or the poor surface ride is very long, I am suspicious of the longevity of the bungees. I use a ratchet strap over the top if I know the conditions are going to be rough. Also, the bag is so big, I am struggling to find a base big enough to hold it on the tail. The standard Dakar tail rack is too small. Overall though I am very happy with the pack and would recommend it for most conditions other than very long or very rough off road rides. June 5, 2013

Carl W: I was looking for another tail bag for my WR250R but with more capacity than the Wolfman Peak one for when I go ADV camping.
I'm thinking/hoping this will do the job and still fit ok.
