Answer: 
This Warn light installation kit is specifically designed to mount underneath the cowl stay on the forks on 2008 and newer R1200GS's. For other applications, the Warn Universal Light Mounts would be the appropriate installation option.

The Warn lights are intended to mount underneath the front cowl of the R1200GS on the cowl stay in front of the forks. Warn has a few installed example photos on their website: http://www.warn.com/adventuretourin...
