Your fuel injected bike is equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit) that's programmed to deliver fuel to the motor based on an air/fuel ratio for a stock air filter and stock exhaust system. While the ECU can self-adjust for environmental factors such as temperature and altitude, it can't adjust for mechanical changes like adding performance parts. When you install a performance exhaust system, your airflow changes, so you need a fuel management system that adjusts your air/fuel ratio to match the changes. That fuel management system is Fuelpak.
The fuelpack plugs directly into the factory wiring harness and ECU using a t-tap and OEM style connectors to stay fastened securely to your bike. The Vance and Hines Fuelpak is easy to install and simple to use.
Throttle position sensor-based system simplifies the process of tuning
Fine tune the fuel mixture through the entire RPM range with the touch of a button
Increases power and improves throttle response
Plugs into the existing harness on the bike
No computer or software is required
Simply punch in the values supplied with the Fuelpak for use with Vance & Hines exhaust systems
Fuel Pak will also work with other exhaust systems (contact V&H tech support for tuning information)
Includes all necessary mounting hardware
Note: Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.

George H:Check the fitment chart first but I believe it will. I put one on my wife's 2013 883 super low. One issue I had with the installation was that the instructions say to use the supplied velcro to attach the unit to the battery strap. I tried re-arranging the two other connections already on the strap but could not get the cover to stay on with the fuel pak added too. I slid the fuel-pak behind the frame right behind the battery and it fits great there.Feb 9, 2015
hussein a:I am not 100% sure about the wiring of the 2015 fuel control maybe get in touch with a Harley mechanic they should be able to know about....
However the vance and hines FP3 auto tuner has quite good reviews especially with the easy plug and play you'd a lot save on DYI or labor charges plus the tuner up on your makes it even more convenient,Feb 9, 2015
A shopper asked:I have the LED fuelpak. Tried to innstall it on my 2010 883XL Sportster, but when I turn the ignition and hit the run button, it breifly turns on, then turns back off again. So I cant program the proper values. Anyone had the same issue?Aug 13, 2014
Philip W:My instructions said the bike must be running when the mode values are entered. When following these directions, it worked as intended. Also, in order for the values to lock in, you must shut the bike off for a short period and then restart it. If you have questions, you can speak to a technical advisor at Vance and Hines website. They have been very helpful to me when my programming seemed to be a little lean. Aug 13, 2014
Daniel N:Try reinstalling it and Double Check you have the correct numbers for each mode. When installing the oak make sure the ignition is off and let is out of ignition, once Pak is installed and ground wire is attached as well turn bike on and punch in numbers for each mode. Make sure your battery is fully charged too, your battery may have a low charge too.... Aug 13, 2014
Ian P:I ran into the same situation when I first installed mine. You actually have to start the bike, trust me. I got frustrated and thought the worst after triple checking all connections.Aug 13, 2014
George H:I put one on my wife's '13 883. the only issue I had was mounting the unit where the instructions said to. I could not get the battery cover to stay on with it velcroed to the battery strap. I squeezed it into the space behind the battery and it has been working there for about six months now.Apr 8, 2015
A shopper asked:Can I make additional changes with this FMS? Say I get exhaust now and tune it properly. Then A month or so later I buy an air filter. Can I make that change in the maps after already having it programmed once??Jun 24, 2015
Philip W:Yes, you will get a map set based on the modifications you have made. If you need to change it just call Vance and Hines tech and tell them what you have done and they can give you the map changes you will need to use to reprogram the tuner. I did this with mine. It was still running lean with the map provided and I called to get help, they gave me some different settings and it solved the lean problem. Jun 24, 2015
Brian R:The map package you select is already set up for a high flow air filter so until you upgrade to a high flow filter your bike may run slightly rich. But i would check V&H data base for possible updates from time to time.Jun 24, 2015
A shopper asked:I'm having a hard time finding the right fuel pack, and not even sure if it'll have the programming needed. I've got the 2013 Iron 883, here's my set up: Bassani Radial Sweeper straight pipes, 4" joker air cleaner, 1200cc conversion, and I'm adding 482 cam gears in the near future. Any suggestions?Jun 1, 2015
A shopper asked:Will this fuel pak work with a Screaming Eagle air intake and Vance and Hines short shots? Harley wants over 1000 to calibrate the ECU and dyno tune my 2013 Iron. I love Harley, but I hate their shop prices... Thanks.Nov 2, 2014
Philip W:Yes, vance and hines has different settings for different combinations of air cleaners and pipes. You will need to tell them what changes you have made. After I made changes and installed the tuner, my bike still ran lean so I called the vance and hines tech support line and they helped me make additional adjustments to make it run right. Nov 2, 2014
