Vance & Hines Dresser Duals Header Pipes For Harley Touring

Dresser Dual head pipes give your motorcycle the traditional look, sound and performance you want. With 220° full-coverage heat shields concealing its commanding 1-3/4” head pipes, you get blue-proof performance for miles and miles. In their newest form, the Dresser Duals eliminate the stock header, giving a clean, true dual function for the newer models. The new design eliminates the heat issues on the left side for the passenger and routes the hot exhaust gases below the footpeg to protect vital engine components from heat damage. For the most complete performance package, pair Dresser Duals with any of the Vance & Hines slip-on mufflers.

Features:

  • Classic True Dual Design
  • Full Coverage Heat Shields
  • Includes Oxygen Sensor Ports
  • Equipped with 18mm O2 Sensor Ports
  • Pre-2007 Touring models will require O2 Sensor Plug Kit sold separately
  • Made in the USA

Note: Mufflers not included. Black option comes with chrome pipes and black heat shields.

Great Pipes, but wide-band O-2 sensor may be a fitment issue
I love having true dual exhaust, so I purchased these pipes for my 2008 Street Glide to replace the factory exhaust. They were just one of many parts I decided to add recently. I've never replaced an exhaust system before, but with the assistance of the RevZilla YouTube channel (thanks Lemmy!), and a few other sources, I was able to get them installed with only one issue.

The wide-band O-2 sensor for the DynoJet Auto Tune Kit does not fit properly; at least not with my Roland Sands Clarity transmission top cover. (see photos provided)

So far, it appears to be working fine, despite the O-2 sensor being bent slightly due to contact with the transmission cover.

I don't know if there will be an issue with the O-2 fitment with an OEM transmission cover, but after visual comparison, I think there would be.

I plan to eventually have a new bung welded in a better location. But for now everything seems to be working just fine.

Gives the bike a nice sound. I have them paired up with some screaming eagle slip-ons until I feel the need to upgrade to Vance & Hines slip-ons. Overall it gave the bike a little extra pep in its step. Of course go for the power duals if you are looking for a bigger power gain. Overall they look great and sound great!
