Vance & Hines Dresser Dual Header Pipes For Harley Touring

Dresser Dual head pipes give your motorcycle the traditional look, sound, and performance you want. With 220° full-coverage heat shields concealing its commanding 1-3/4” head pipes, you get blue-proof performance for miles and miles. In their newest form, the Dresser Duals eliminate the stock header, giving a clean, true dual function for the newer models. The new design eliminates the heat issues on the left side for the passenger and routes the hot exhaust gases below the footpeg to protect vital engine components from heat damage. For the most complete performance package, pair Dresser Duals with any of the Vance & Hines slip-on mufflers.

Features:

  • Classic true-dual header design
  • Full-coverage heat shields
  • Equipped with 12mm oxygen sensor ports
  • Black option comes with chrome pipes and black heat shields
  • Compatible with all Vance & Hines slip-on mufflers
  • Made in the USA

Great product, excellent service
Installed myself. Pretty easy installation. I do most work on my motorcycle myself. Even if you aren't a mechanic you can install these. Just follow instructions and take your time. Chrome finish on these is beautiful. Sound is excellent. V&H make great products and have always been happy with them. Revzilla has earned my business. This was my first order and getting free shipping and earning zilla bucks has turned me into a zilla customer for life. Not to mention my parts arrived the next day. Very satisfied.

Sounds So Good..
The Vance and Hines headpipes are very high quality. The chrome on the heat shields are excellent. Installation instructions are very well written. Plus Revzilla had the lowest price on them.

I paired this up with some 4" Rinehart mufflers and could not be happier. I have had the Rineharts before on my previous bike, but did not like the headpipes that come with the Rinehart full system. The rear headpipe on the Rinehart exhaust is routed under the seat, and by the passenger floorboards (It gets hot). This time around I purchased the Vance and Hines header to reroute the exhaust. It makes for a much cooler ride, and looks better I think.

Look sharp sound great
Installed these pipes myself and they went on with no issues. Instructions were straight forward but the pictures needed some help. They look and sound great. Currently auto tuning them with the FP3. They were packed tight and shipped quick, had it at the house in only 3 days. Thanks!

Love the look of the V&H dresser duals header on my bike. Great sound and easy install.

Dresser Duals
Everything is as it should be. With the Harley crossover pipe most of the noise and exhaust goes out the right muffler. The dresser duals uses both mufflers and is much louder than I expected in the rider position. I guess i'm not used to hearing exhaust noise with my left ear. If I had to do it over again I would purchase the power duals or maybe put the quiet baffles in my twin slash mufflers.

Nice headeers, but disappointed with design flaws
First: Revzilla shipped these headers out super fast!!! Now for the headers. Pros: the headers were relatively easy to install. They look great and sound great! They really woke up my 2013 CVO Ultra. Cons and the reason for 3 stars. There's a leak; air coming from the crossover pipe where it joins with the front cylinder header. No matter how much you tighten the torca clamp, it still leaks. Placed a call to V&H. The first gentleman had no information and placed me on hold. I was on hold for so long that a second gentleman was given my call. He explained that he spoken to their top dyno guys in the past and the leak is normal. What??? That's insane! And he offered no solutions to fix it. This is obviously a design flaw when the pipe slips "into" the header and not "on to". The second flaw is the location of the O2 sensor for the rear cylinder. It's located in such a way that no matter what you do you see the sensor and the wire. The O2 sensor is located up high on the header instead of down below where the stock sensors are located. And the wire is not long enough to truly hide. The only way to hide the wire is to purchase a wire harness extension which is another $30, or buy plugs and remove the sensors. For those reasons, these headers get 3 stars. V&H needs to head back to the drawing board!!!

Vance&Hines always a great choice!
I wanted a header system that would pay homage to Harley and match up with my twin slash mufflers. These are just the ticket if you want to open up your exhaust and rid yourself of the catalytic OEM's (Where legal!).

Great set of Pipes
This has been a great add-on to my '13 FLTRX. I'm using them with the stock slip-ons paired with a big breather and fuel back. What a difference. I feels as if my bike was given some Halls Mentholatim. It has really opened up and performance is much better. All I need now are some new slip-ons. I would recommend this set to others. .

Great product but is not without flaws
I purchased these, coupled with the V&H Eliminator 400 Slip-Ons, as an upgrade to the stock system on my 2016 Road Glide (FLTRX). Seem to be very well constructed. They were easy to install and provide the sound I was looking for without being overly obnoxious. Only gave them 4-5 stars though because it would have been nicer if V&H placed the O2 bung for the rear head pipe closer to the stock position, lower on the pipe. It was difficult rerouting the sensor wire while keeping it tucked away nice and neat.

I wanted black headers and was also considering the V&H Power Duels but these went on closeout so the price was good. I like the simple looks of these and they match my black V&H Oversized 450 slip-ons.

I like the reviews. I want something to get rid of the CAT and improve the performance. I have been buying Vance and Hines products for years so I know they are reliable.

I like Vance and Hines quality. I have uses Vand H twin slash mufflers on all my bikes. I like the sound and the price. Finish looks great after 50k miles. I expect the same from the dresser duals

they sound a lot better than the x over head pipes like to try to keep everything one manufacturer so if I have any issues they can handle all of it.

I put a set of Rinehart True Duals on my bike and they were much to close to my left thigh with much too much heat, so I wanted a quality product to relocate the exhaust that was still free flowing.

Does the installation of header pipes, the dress duals, require fuel management or dyno remapping?
A shopper on Oct 23, 2013
BEST ANSWER: If you are doing head pipes only, I say no. If the upgrade includes a high flow air cleaner or slip-ons with the head pipes I would add fuel management, as the bike will run much better with the proper calibration in the ECM.
Do I need to additionally purchase exhaust port gaskets?
James C on Aug 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. You could probably get away with the originals, but have exhaust leak issues down the road.
I went with the Screaming Eagle gaskets. There a bit more robust. Considering the cost of the Headers, pipes, tuner, air cleaner, etc. why go cheap at the end???? Enjoy the roar!!!!
Are these duel headers with out the cayltic converter in the pipe?
A C on May 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Correct. I do not believe there is a converter here. I was not happy how they paired with the original Screamin Eagle 4" Street Canon slip ons and recently replaced with Vance and Hines 4" Oval Rounds. It was a perfect match and love the performance, smoothness and sound. Look great too!
Are the heat shields included?
A C on Feb 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes,
The heat shields are included with the pipes. By the way these look and sound great. Excellent legendary quality. I've had V&H pipes on my other pipes. Love the brand. Lou
I have a 2015 cvo street glide and I would like to reduce the heat from the catalytic converter. What I was thinking about doing is adding the Vance & Hines Dresser Dual Header Pipe. This way I have removed my catalytic converter, hopefully reducing the heat.Leaving my stock mufflers on until I decide if I wish to change the mufflers. Will this make the bike any louder and also reduce the heat?
A shopper on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I did the same thing on my Road King and it did get a bit louder and definitely changed the sound. It did run a bit cooler as well in my experience.
can i buy just the heat shields ?
A C on May 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: you can go on vance and hines website and ask.
Will a pair of Python 3 1/2 slip ons fit theses?
A shopper on Mar 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I really have no idea if they will

I haven't installed mine yet
Check VH website for fitment
Will this fit my screaming eagle slip ons?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: you should be able too put those on the Vance n Hines !!!

there basically standard size !!
Does all mounting hardware come with this header pipe?
A S on Feb 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: yes.
Can I use my Rinehart 4" slip-ons with these headers?
A shopper on Oct 29, 2013
BEST ANSWER: yes but you will probably need to flash the ECM or use V&H fuel pak.
