RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
brent d: Best looking exhaust, decent price point and trusted name. Dec 2, 2013
James C: I have a 2013 Connie. The first time I heard the V&H CS One on a Connie, I couldn't believe how good it sounded. It wasn't obnoxiously loud, but rather sounded like a race bike. The Connie's fine engine deserves a good pipe to make it sound really good. As a bonus, the CS One looks very sharp and is not nearly as huge as the stock potato canon (as another reviewer so adeptly put it). I'm ready to obliterate the sewing machine sound of my Connie and let it sing full bore deep bass! Nov 13, 2013
David H: Love my Concours, but never liked the looks or sound of the OEM exhaust. Aug 25, 2013
A shopper asked: I would like to buy the insert that makes this pipe the most quiet. Can someone help me with what and where to buy. I have a 2011 C 14 ? Apr 19, 2014

David H: As I recall from research I did before I bought this, a lot of people on the motorcycle forums were asking similar questions. I believe someone actually asked the manufacturer and they said that they did not make anything to make this quieter nor were they planning to.

I have a 2012 Concours and the OEM muffler was extremely quiet. When I first added the slip on, I was inside the garage and, comparatively, it sounded much louder. However, when I got out on the street, it wasn't all that loud. As a matter of fact, I think it has a nice sound and is pretty tame compared to a lot of bikes. I have no concerns about bothering my neighbors so long as you don't rev it up to high rpms.

Douglas G: To whom it may concern: I purchased one of these pipes and would not change a thing. I've been told you may need repack the pipe at about 18000 miles and time will tell for you. I Rode 22000 miles last season and will say the pipe is especially nice on the highway as others hear you better and seem less likely to unexpectedly cut you off. In the city the pipe seems pretty tame. Just my thoughts, to each is own. Hope this helps. Doug Apr 20, 2014

Ian G: Sorry, I didn't buy the most quiet insert.....I like it loud!!!!!... Saying that it's a pretty quiet can when your just cruising along or idling...open her up though and it's a sweet sound......I love it. Cops haven't pulled me up for it (or they haven't caught me yet!)
