Vance Hines Competition Series 2-Into-1 Exhaust For Harley Dyna 2006-2015
First of all, these are loud. The baffle does a good job with the tone and echo, but it doesn't muffle. The pipes are well made and look great. Having 18mm bungs for dyno o2 sensors is nice if you tune often. The welds look great and the fit/finish is fantastic. Installing was extremely easy. The only drawback (if you care about it) is that they discolor within minutes of use. There is zero heat shielding on this. It cuts down on weight and has a great look, but it's not for everyone.
If you want a pure racing pipe these are definitely the trick.

NIGHT AND DAY difference. Sound/ Airflow/ Looks.
This changed my bike so much. Low rumble and aggressive when I turn the "go fast". I'm super happy so stay with me here... Installation was frustrating.. missing parts from Vance and Hines... if you have 12mm O2 sensors you need to purchase 18mm O2 plugs (x2) cause the kit didn't include them (like I said, the paper work says it does) Another thing .... use the screaming eagle gaskets (Vance and Hines Recommend in their paper work) ... they're not as deep and the OEM ones will not work (this was super frustrating to learn.) Also the last frustrating thing about installation was the dog ears (connecting the actual pipe to the bike)... they're nightmare to get lined up. Have patience though.. totally worth the stress. After installation you've earned that shot of tequila and a corona and it'll taste so much sweeter cause you installed these yourselves. Don't hesitate just make sure you have everything you need and get these bad boys.. or don't so I can be the only dude with these on the streets!

Pricey but different
I've yet to see one of these in the flesh, other than the one I installed on my bike today. I've wanted it for about 6 months and could finally do it. What really struck me was HOW MUCH LIGHTER this entire system is than the factory setup or even the V&H slipons I was using before. Installation is not challenging if you are patient when doing it by yourself, you have basic tools and you make yourself read the instructions. If you can swap out Harley grips you can install this system. Buyer beware: this kit does not come with 18mm oxygen sensor plugs. I don't know what years of HD used the 18mm but my bike is a 2013 and I spent about three hours running around town before I found these little plugs. But once I did....got everything mounted up, wiped the fingerprints off, flashed the ECU with the handy dandy FP3 and pure aural joy. It's loud, but not short shot straight pipe loud. Much deeper than that. You can keep it reasonable when you need to, but when you want to get on it you are going to grin ear to ear. More low end punch. I saw somewhere else where this setup is supposed to give you about 10 more HP and maybe 7 Ft Lbs of TQ. The pipes immediately started turning gold (I knew this getting into it and don't mind) and there are no heat shields on the pipes. Depending on your leg length and control setup this may or may not be a problem. The system looks really, really good and you're not going to look like everyone else. And it actually performs. I'll edit this if there are any issues but really happy so far. This was mounted on a 2013 Fat Bob with forward controls. Took it for a few rides this afternoon and it very much increased my joy for this bike.
