Vance & Hines C.A.R.B. Fuelpak For Harley Softail

Your fuel injected bike is equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit) that's programmed to deliver fuel to the motor based on an air/fuel ratio for a stock air filter and stock exhaust system. While the ECU can self-adjust for environmental factors such as temperature and altitude, it can't adjust for mechanical changes like adding performance parts. When you install a performance exhaust system, your airflow changes, so you need a fuel management system that adjusts your air/fuel ratio to match the changes. That fuel management system is Fuelpak. The perfect combination with your performance exhaust system.

Fuelpak plugs directly into the factory wiring harness and ECU using a t-tap and OEM style connectors to stay fastened securely to your bike. Vance and Hine's focus was on making installation and use as simple as possible.

Vance & Hines Fuel Pak Features:

  • Throttle position sensor system simplifies the process of fuel injection tuning
  • Enables you to fine tune the fuel mixture throughout the entire RPM range with the touch of a button
  • Increases power and improves throttle response
  • Very user friendly
  • Plugs into the existing harness on the bike
  • No computer or software is required
  • Simply punch in the values supplied with the Fuelpak
  • Values supplied are for use with Vance & Hines exhaust systems
  • Fuelpack will also work with other exhaust systems (contact V&H tech support for tuning information)
  • Includes all necessary mounting hardware

Note: Requires the use of a high-performance air filter and is C.A.R.B. approved for California customers.

Helps regulate the stock settings with the new intake and exhaust. Decent little setup, I put it on my 2003 Fatboy with Vance & Hines Big Radius and a Screaming Eagle Big Sucker. Setup was quick and painless, all the mounting parts were included with the FuelPak, setup took 20 min and it all fit under the seat. Programming was simple, gave Vance & Hines a call and they set me up with a stetting mag from their website. A nice boost in performance with a good kick to throttle responce, but the bigest difference is the sound of the pipes, they dont pop after letting off the throttle but give off a nice grumble. The only downside is when upshifting if the rev's are low the pipes give a loud pop enough to set off some car alarms, but this happens rarely. All in all a good setup, bit pricey but a small investment that definetley helps with performance. August 4, 2015
