Vance Hines Big Radius 2-Into-2 Exhaust for Raider XV1900/S 2008-2013
I bought these pipes for my 2013 Stryker just to realize that Vance & Hines did not care about their design for this bike!
I'm 6' tall with a 34" inseam. I have forward controls installed on my bike as well.
Now on to the pipes . . . While they look great, the ergonomics are absolutely ridiculous! The curve of the rear cylinder pipe puts the pipe at about 1" from your leg, at calf height!
The amount of heat you get from that is absolutely insane, and having your leg touch the pipe is a certainty!
The pipes are routed without a single care for the design of the bike elements and they are just thrown in there.
The whole assembly runs very far from the bike's body (about 3-4"), which, once again, when you are at a stop, puts a great deal of heat on your leg - Detail: I have a custom solo seat that stands mere 25.5" from the ground.
They provide spacers for your controls assembly, but . . . if you installed them, you will start scraping your right peg A LOT earlier!
Riding with this scenario just put my body completely out of balance and made the ride quite unpleasant.
Finally, they did not care to make a 1-piece heat shield either like the cobra swept.
I had two choices: sell them or modify them. Luckily, I was able to sell them, and I purchased the Cobra Speedster Swept, which are by far, much far, a better fit, and a better product altogether for the Yamaha Stryker.
You notice the difference already in the packaging: V&H arrives with everything clanking inside a huge box (once again, just thrown together), while Cobra arrives in a much smaller box, with no shake or rattle.
The proof of the bad design from V&H is the amount of hardware that is necessary for mounting it on the bike, while the Cobra has 1 bracket and 4 bolts!
Rarely we would have the chance to experience two sets of pipes within 10 days . . . I did, and I tell you: Do not buy these pipes for a Yamaha Stryker. You will regret it sooner or later!

Would have been great but...
These nice looking pipes from a very reputable company DO NOT FIT. I have a Yamaha Road Star Warrior and i have been riding the Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered Exhaust for 4 years but the heat shield started to break off. I got these pipes and the header pipe flanges don’t line up to the bolt holes on the engine’s cylinder heads. I'm sure it would have been great if they did. Do Not buy for a Yamaha Road Star Warrior! It's a Vance & Hines mistake on the whole line of this product.

Incredible Sounding Pipes!
I decided to go with the Vance and Hines exhaust based on the reputation of sound alone. Let me say they didn't disappoint! They have a very beautiful design and finish. I had these professionally installed. This system really woke my engine up. They gave me the nice deep rumble I was looking for. I was interested in a great sound not just noise. They are mellow when you want them to be but twist that throttle (hold on!) and you'll wake the neighbors. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I got a set of these Vance & Hines pipes for my V-Star 950 this winter and they bring out a lot of body in the sound....makes it sound like a totally different and more alive motorcycle. The two drawbacks I find are the high pitched "chatter" that sometimes bugs me while idling and backfire pops. I'm planning to add a FMS so that will likely take care of that issue. Loving them so far and plan to put a lot more miles on my bike now that they are on there!

Exact fitment, GREAT sound
Exact fitment, easy metric to standard hardware. Maximum 2 hour install. Unbelievable sound from 1st to 4th and 5th is a smooth and classic rumble. An occasional backfire pop, but WELL worth every dollar spent.

Awesome sound, awesome looks. Absolutely the best !!!
I chose these pipes because I wanted great sound and great looks. With Vance & Hines, I knew I would get both, and these pipes certainly deliver!!! The install was time-consuming, about 4 hours, and moderate in difficulty for one person. Having a helper would significantly ease the installation. The sound is incredible and so are the looks!!! They are deep and mean, but very smooth, and not too loud. Perfect for this bike - they are all business!!! The looks are incredible - the chrome is so deep it looks like you could reach inside. I am so pleased with these pipes, I would definitely choose them again!!!
