This is my first foray into the Harley world. I didnt really know many names for exhaust companies out there but I have always heard of Vance & Hines. I really liked the look of both the big radius (2-2 and 2-1). After much research I saw that you get more power from the 2-1 systems and figured why not just go for that one. It also seemed that more people go for the 2-2 look so I liked being a little different.
The exhaust was delivered quickly as was expected from prior dealings with Revzilla. The install was however a royal pain! The stocker came off easily(dont they all) but getting the new one to line up was just miserable. Its not Revzilla's fault, its just the nature of the 2-1 systems I guess. The 2-2 systems would be much easier because the pipes are separated and not one whole piece stuck together.
I digress. After everything was on I took the bike out. Wow, no more OEM rumble, now it had Harley rumble!! One of the big things I liked about this exhaust was the sound. Specifically, it sounds different as a 2-1 system than the exact same one in 2-2. Whereas the 2-2 has a more higher "pit pit pit" rumble, this 2-1 has a deep "bum bum bum" rumble. The only problem is that now I cant come home late because I will make my neighbors hate me. It is pretty loud even when just trying to cruise through the neighborhood in neutral.

David B:Matt, I have not had anything done on my 2013 Wide Glide other than a Stage I with 2-into-1 exhaust and I have noticed a substantial improvement with performance. Regarding the BAK, I have no idea. The passenger peg riser kit, however, I am not happy with. Instead of spacing the peg up for the required clearance a new peg needs to be modified that clears the pipes yet does not raise the mounting end. My fender is buckled from contact when riding passenger. Only solution is to trim the fender, but would have been nice if advised before damage was done.Mar 10, 2014
Adrian S:Hey Matt .... you need two things with these pipes. First, a new fuel management system and Second, new air kit/filter. I got the V&H fuel management and the RSD air filter and it all works well and significantly changes power, noise, torque, speed, looks, heart beat! You do need all these things really
