Vance & Hines 3" Round Twin Slash Slip On Exhaust for Harley Dyna

One of the best ways to quickly and inexpensively customize your Harley is to add a set of slip-on mufflers. With our new Twin Slash 3” slip-ons you will get the benefit of increased performance and the bellowing throaty growl of a Vance & Hines exhaust. In addition to the performance and sound, we fashioned a stylish look that’s blue proof thanks to 3” full-coverage muffler heat shields over the muffler bodies. Twin Slash 3” slip-ons come with standard louvered core baffles, optional quiet and competition baffles and are available in chrome or black ceramic finish with a chrome end treatment.

Features:

  • Feature muffler bodies shielded by full-coverage heat shields for a blue-proof look
  • Increased performance with a throaty growl
  • Include standard louvered core baffles
  • Optional baffles available in competition or quiet which reduce sound levels 3-5 dB
  • Sold in pairs
  • Made in the U.S.A.

Now my Harley SOUNDS like a Harley So Glad I bought these Slip Ons. Not only did it ditch the Catalytic Converter, which now runs WAY cooler, no more leg melt. But the SOUND, Dat's wut I'm tawkin bout. Sounds way better, and ... like Harley Super easy to put on well. Best money I've spent on anything in a long time. Highly Recommend April 15, 2013

A shopper asked: i have a 2014 fxdbp fuel injected do I have to get the computer remapped or dyno? Dec 14, 2013

Russ V: The V&H slip-ons alone didn't require adding a tuner to remap the ECU. I put them on and the bike runs fine. If you replace the stock air filter with a performance one you'll have to add a tuner. The V&H Fulepak is plug and play and doesn't require dynoing. Other models offer more parameters that can be adjusted, but require the bike to be dynoed. Dec 15, 2013

Mark J: Yes, I would. Also, no matter who does the install, make sure to LOC-TITE the bolt that mounts to the exhaust bracket at the trans. Mine was not and it backed all the way out. Still waiting for a replacement bolt....... :(

Also, the stage one download is perfect for these slipons.

Brian S: Remapping should not be required if all you are doing is changing to the twin slash. If however you also change the intake- then you will need a remap. Dec 14, 2013

A shopper asked: Can it be mounted to stock brackets with no additional hardware? Oct 31, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Donn W: They came with all the necessary mounting hardware. It's a little more involved than bolting into welded mounts on stock muffler, but not at all difficult. Entire swap took me about 2 1/2 hours. Guessing it should be same for your Dyna. Nov 1, 2013
