UCLEAR HBC100 Plus / HBC200 Series Pro Microphones / Speakers
If you purchase the ULEAR COMMUNICATORS AND used half helmet these are required.
The UCLEAR COMMUNICATORS are the worse communicators I have bought. Paid good money for them as replacement for SENA. Big mistake. Thew background noise level was unbelievable using a half helmet. Attempt to contact Uclear technical help results in email contact only. They state you need these microphones. Bought them and yes they do help. Improves the sound but still picks up a lot of background noise. Very disappointed.

Uclear what can you say?
Excellent product, added these to our full face helmets after using the half helmet version. Great products from Uclear.

Great for Music and Intercom
I use this daily for music and I love that I can use voice control w/ my Iphone to make calls (peace of mind for emergency situations). On occasion I have a hard time communicating on phone calls, even at low speeds. I recently updated the firmware (uclear-digital.com) since it boasts "Improved High Speed Communication Speech Quality". After the update, I wasn't able to sync the intercom with other units. My riding group had to update theirs as well to get the intercom to work again. Uclear hasn't responded to email or phone calls. I like that this unit is small and matte black; some of the others brands appear clunky and are shiny silver. The GPS works great even when I have music playing. My only call out is there is a rubber "nub" on the back that sits on the mounting bracket; mine has worn down a bit which makes the unit slide around. I may need to build it back up with urethane or something to ensure I don't lose it at high speeds.

SLIGHTLY better than original speakers
I installed the U-Clear HBC200 Bluetooth on my Shoei RF-1100 helmet. It came with both the original speakers and these Pro Series speakers. I have ridden around with the original speakers for about 3 months. I have recently removed and replaced them with these Pro Series speakers.
First I'll go with the Cons:
-A little longer to install because of the needing to route the extended mic wires.
-More wires in your helmet because of extended mic wires.
-No noticeable audio quality difference.
-slightly better clarity for the person you're speaking with because of the extended mic wires.
What I expected from these was better sound quality (had trouble understanding what people were saying at moderate higher speeds, and music quality wasn't too great either), which I didn't get. I did get slightly better speaking clarity but then again I never really had any complains from people understanding me with the original speaker/mics.
Original speakers COULD use an upgrade but these unfortunately are not an upgrade. Which is probably why they are priced the same as the original speakers (actually less now since they are on sale). Save your money for something else.

Great improvement to an already good intercom
I have a BMW System 6 helmet and my rider could not hear me above 40 mph with HBC200 Intercom. After installing Pro Microphone, now we can communicate clearly at speeds above 70 mph.

Big improvement over stock boomless microphone
We've use the boomless mic's for years and above 50mph, I cannot understand my passenger over the intercom. We upgraded to the HBC 100+ units and they are great but still trouble hearing at higher speeds. Full face helmet but wind noise. Installed these mic's in both helmets. Great. I can hear her clearly at much higher speeds based on a 200-mile ride. As good or better than my old very good J&M units that had a large mic and required digging into the chin bar to mount.

Speakers in my helmet, WHAT???
I purchased these for a full face helmet. According to the product they are designed for they are not necessary however I like the idea of multiple mounting locations for the microphones. These were mounted into a Scorpion Exo helmet and admittadly there was a little fitment issues, as the check pads did not want to snap back in once installed. Did a little digging and found that the snap was in the way. Made some adjustments and all is right with the world. These are some large speakers for the application but they do the job better than any I have had in the past.
